Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

No, I suspect you didn't explain yourself well Theland as absolutely none of that came accross to me but I am very glad to hear it and equally, I could probably have been less forthright. I'm still not sorry for what I said but perhaps the way I said it could have been more tactful. Do let us know when your grandaughter is offically here and try to remember that the things that make you happy may not necessarily make someone else happy... Imagine my reactioin to being told I'm being taken to see a musical when Saw 5 is out at the end of the month as an example ;0)

Dearest Sanctuarians, my daughter is now over the forty weeks and we are concerned. She is booked in for next Monday, Arrowe Park, to be induced.
Having watched a great many Westerns on the TV over the years, (thank you, John Wayne), I know exactly what to do - boil lots of water and tear up the bed sheets! I don't know why, but that seems to be the drill!
So Naomi is off some hwre on a plane? My word! That woman will go to the ends of the Earth for a bargain of cheap wine! She is consistent though!
How well we remember her newly dicovered singing voice and her caution for shoplifting following her visit to the "Outer Slobostan Wine Festival," a fe months ago?
Her sentence of 100 hours community service picking up wine bottles from Skid Row only added to her expertise of the value of the noble grape!

Do you not think that it is relevant to discuss our background, in order to provide the other Sanctys with a modicum of evidence to ascertain from where your paradigm originated?
Mine is "heart on sleeve " stuff, and my views refelct that experience hat has been my life.
If I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, my views may have been different, and of course of interest to the Sanctys - or Sancties - whatever.
Our lives colour our views on life,, don't you think?
Stand in the Jobcentre queue and ask if anybody shares your views on life, mutual beneficience, and quantum hokey pokey, and the stares will drill you down!

Your views carry more weight if we know from whence thay originated.

It's too effing early! I've been up since 5am and in work since 7am!

I'm house hunting, I hate it! I hate moving, stupid family buying a new house in the outer end of no where, I'd just settled in to a nice rut and made a snuggly corner for myself and now I have to move.

And you know what else I hate? Patients, that's who! Do you know how much better a hospital would run without the pesky blighters?!

I think maybe I need some coffee.... Do you think it comes across that I'm not really a morning person?!

Err ... not sure I should pop in right now seeing as I'm not very well. I haven't seen a doctor, though, China - honest. I haven't been a burden on the medical profession, or got on any of the clerical staff's nerves - or stopped any of them from getting their coffee - despite the fact that I've paid thousands into the system and reaped little benefit from it. You sound stressed, China dear. Do you think you ought to see a doctor? runs off (well, limps off) for another dose of aspirin.

Can't say for sure, but I think it may have been the moment when you divulged what was probably your greatest and most closely guarded secret ........... that, in future, you were going to become a Christian just like Theland and get all your answers from God.
