I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Well Accu were accu, it dried up about an hour or so ago and the sun's shining ....shame I can't be bothered to do anything now though. I'll have a walk up and down the garden just to say I've been outside. :)

I went for a coeliac blood test last week but I doubt that's the problem, I'll ring for the result on Mon. It's a terrible thing if you have it bad.
Accu here too. They said it would rain in 3 minutes time and it did ...and will do so for the next two hours .How cheerful .
A friend of mine has that coeliac thing .She lives on chicken ,spuds and rice .
We're having M&S ding beef stew and dumplings with runner beans .I'll look like a runner bean soon .
Glad you got your points sorted Robinia ...Mr S uses mine for his odds and ends then gives me the cash ..can't be bad ..haha.

Ha, sounds like a good deal shaney. Boots can be a bit pricey but if you use your noodle and make the most of the offers to get stocked up you really do save. I bought quite a few xmas presents there last year, the baby & toddler clothes are lovely.
When I'm in UK I give all my points to sis, no good to me, and once Boots gave me a black beaded cocktail bag!! I ask you!!

Our Sky satellite has been cut off, no idea why, but Mr N is not displeased as he saves 50€ a month, and I never get to watch it anyway, I'm happy enough with the Beed and ITV. Been teasing him that he'll have to watch Strictly, x factor and Downton now, that does displease him!!!
Mr N's dinner was lovely, so I over ate again. Gosh still hot here.
yesterday I was strolling by remnants of the Wall in the sun in Berlin, today I am home popping slippers in the microwave. Perhaps I should skip the slippers and just put my feet in. Accu promised an hour of rain here but it went on most of the afternoon, just to welcome me hone.
yes, bit of a change in the weather. Dogs are asleep now and snoring, hopefully a less chaotic day tomorrow.
feet are freezing, which keeps me awaks, so I have just put slippers in themicrowave again. I have now been awake 24 hours, grrr
Morning all, just popping before my day starts and I don't get round to it. Yes I hear the the UK has dropped in temp overnight, oh lovely Autumn.

This laptop is very unstable, driving me crazy. Will have to insist that Sony sort it out for free. Changes every minute, one min it's fine next it's jumping all over the place. Wish I had the energy.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all...
ooooh, it's cold out there, a see your breath morning, but at least it's bright and sunny. It's very seasonal, I can deal with this and way more pleasant than dark and wet.

Oh dear jno, sorry it's not a warm welcome home. I know how you feel, I can't sleep with cold feet. It's something to do with your inner body being too warm if your feet are too cold. The only way I've found is about two hrs before bed put on some very warm, preferably knee high, socks. Just warming my feet doesn't seem to work, it has to be the lower legs.

Amazon local are offering me a 'Three-Hour Introduction to Rope Climbing' today. That has to be the best one yet, I couldn't climb a rope when I was twelve, even if a wild hungry bear was after me I still wouldn't be able to do it. I'd probably better doing a magician's course...I seem perfectly able to have something in my hand one minute and the next, hey presto! it's vanished.
Totally agree aboout the cold feet, if your feet are warm then the rest will be warm. Obviously not yet here.
Morning all
Lovely bright morning ,a bit chilly though .Welcome back Jno ,I hope you had a good time .Would you like me to knit you some leg warmers ? I can do matching socks as well if you like :)
I can't stand having cold feet either .I've invested in a new pair of those cheap fake ugg boots as slippers for when it gets really cold .I look a bit like Nanuk of the North in them but warmth is priority.
Hope you're all ok today.
I had a pink pair of fake uggs which I used for slippers for several years, great idea, I have some slipper sox at the moment, but not needing them, but will have to get rubber soled slipper boottees for the winter, as I nip in and out of the house every 5 mins, to laundry room or elsewhere so need a good sole.
Hmmmm; forecast says 25º and sunny, actuality is thunder and overcast.
morning all, bright and chilly here. Thanks for the link Neti.
useful magic course, with added exercise to warm up the feet

Woo, a very impressive show of multi tasking jno. oddly enough I just managed to make all of your avatars disappear, but don't panic, somehow I've magically restored them. I think I need to build on this skill, it could come in handy.
That is fascinating jno, obviously all in the tutu!

Just had an interesting day, we went to see the new port in Ibiza for cruise and local ships, I didn't even know it was there, it was really exciting to see all the coming and going, so we had a coffee there, it was pouring down, then we drove around the tourist area of Playa den Bossa where we usually go on the beach, It was deserted, and many of the cafes have shut down, the poor tourists were just slogging along in the rain. Went to have lunch in an american Diner Foster's but it has also closed down and gone for good, so ended up at Burger King which I like, just didn't want a big Spanish lunch, and would never eat an English roast here unless I have cooked it. Then we pootled pn home where the sun is now shining.
