Does anyone know if PayPal is down ?
I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

Morning all or whatever. Sunny but sweti day here. Did 3 loads of washing.
Shaney are you with a private dentist?
Same old, same old routine here
Coffee, made pisaladier. Oh was trimming the flowery hedge type thing at the bottom of our garden, sprayed a biting lk n yellow spider before it could attack me. Then saw a wasps nest in the hedge, so sprayed that and ran like Billyo have to warn the postman! Hope My N can sort it!
Hope you get your teef back in one piece shaney. There's always sommat :)

neti please send 10 of your degrees here to bump up our meagre 12C. I'm too cold but too achey to move fast enough to generate heat...
Music, that's what I need...very loud music....

My dentist retired recently Neti and sold his practice to a chain dental group.
Had I gone there it would have been mega, mega money and they would only have sent it to the same dental technician anyway.
I need to find another dentist.
70 quid lighter but I'm a happy eater again but must go easy on pork pie with crusty pastry :)
It's turned very chilly although we have sunshine atm after the showers .
On my trudges back and forth today I noticed lots of berries on various bushes and hedges .They say that's a sign of a bad winter :(
Oh that was quick shaney, £70 isn't peanuts but for bridgework it sounds reasonable. You'll have to have one sided toast :) Yes, the shrubs/trees are heavy with berries although I'm not really convinced about it being a prediction, more of a result of what's already been. That said I'm browsing winter coats....and boots...and scarves :(

He's very good.Just goes to show what a profit dentists make .Last time I broke one off the teeth at the bottom back, although that's a denture of three teeth, and he repaired it .I'll have to chew carefully and bone my sdns:)
It's definitely coat weather out there Robinia.
I suppose that's a reasonable charge, shaney, less than upkeep for the Forth bridge.
Sounds pretty good to me shaney.
My laptop appears to have given up the ghost, it start shrieking non stop, so loudly it honestly made me feel dizzy. Every time I opened it bit would start again, now it is useless, cantvstart it. Will take in tomorrow but don't trust the *** here. If all fails, I will delve into my pension and get a cheap one at Xmas ( unless of course, I get the winter fuel allowance and that'll buy it). We'll sit and freeze but at least I'll be online to tell you all about it.
Good morning all. Laptop still not working. I rather hope it would sort itself out overnight. Mr N has gone off to Ibiza town early so he can get a parking place.
Seems like a nice day here.
Good morning...grumpy of Derby here.
I woke up feeling tetchy...wasn't long before something made me tetchier. Now I see it's a real feel of 9C...
St Oolallia - real feel 29C.

This isn't right.
I slept with my socks on last night, which I rarely do. So did OH, which never happens. Maybe we're both getting chilly feet.
Laptop at the doctors, I asked for quick and cheap!! It'll cost a fortune no doubt.
Lovely fresh breeze today, wasps nest gone, apparently my run-by sprating killed them all, so Mr. N just had to remove it. I have unearthed a dell laptop but no idea how to connect to to wifi. Says connected but no packets!

Hello all
It's raining as usual and also a real feel of 9C. I don't like anything on my feet in bed but I did have a hwb last night it was so chilly.
It's the Maritime Festival this weekend so hopefully it'll keep dry for that .I won't be going this year though ,too crowded for snails like me these days.My days of clambering up gangplanks are over :)
We might walk down to the river on Sunday evening if it's not raining to see the tall ships leave.
Well I've had a good idea, today I've decided to wear the clothes I haven't worn this summer ....all at once. I'm up to about 15 layers.
Robi you probably look quite tubby now .
Question Author
If Robinia looks tubby then I probably look like Michelin man x2.
My blood must be getting thin .Ive got a jumper on and the thick chunky cardi I knitted last year ,socks ,trews and me fake uggs .It's really chiily and still raining. This damp is no good for my acheyitis. I might dig out a scarf any minute now and top it all off with a woolly hat:)
Morning...cloudy and cold, it took me til 1am with the duvet, a throw, winter pj's and a hot-pack to warm up last night. And I still feel crip.
Certainly not tubby, ice-pop would describe me well.

I nipped out early, shops quaite quiet except for a few grumpies like me, moaning about the sub zero temperatures and wiping their runny eyes.
