I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

Hello all
Freezing cold here and sleety stuff on and off all day.
Hope you're all ok though. Nothing much doing . Been tidying up after Christmas and doing the usual household engineering. Sainsbury's brought food today so it's hunker down and carry on as best we can suppose. I hope you got a haircut Neti. I'm beginning to look as if I've been pulled through a hedge backwards.
Keep warm.
hello all. Girding my loins for Sis leaving on Sunday. No idea when i will see her again as she MUST get her vac, at least the first one and as we understand it she can't get it here. I will be fine, its just a bit quiet without her. She gets bored at home as there is more within walking distance here but we are big girls and there are loads worse off than us....heigh ho! sleep well all....special wave to robi
Happy Kings Day! It was 0° here at 9am. That's cold for here. At midday the sun was out so Mr N and I sat in town square and had a couple of drinks. Surprisingly there were few children playing on new toys! The. A dark.clous came over we we have hunkered down at home. Hija has taken my car and returned the washnd I did and hopefully has retrieved her own!
All.xmas stuff now removed and put away. Ahh

zero is cold here too. We haven't really got any decorations up but we're not going to put cards away just yet as there are several that don't seem to have arrived from abroad - I think there have been PO problems at this end.
Question Author
just received a video clip of granddaughter howling her head off, practically gasping for breath. Poor wee thing, I hope there's nothing wrong with her but apparently she's doing it a lot. We can't help, we can't even see her, but the community midwife has prescribed something for her; hope it works.
oh poor baby. It must be very frightening for you both and for her parents. I hope the midwife's prescription helps quickly.
Question Author
sent the video to OH's goddaughter, who is a midwife, and advises feed, cuddle, wind, change, repeat. It can last for weeks but it will fade. Tough on the poor parents, though, who can't get much help or much sleep. It's tempting to move in with them and *** the Covid marshals; but we have too many problems of our own.
oh is it colic? My godson was a colicky baby, so stressful and scarey for the parents. Might it also still be forceps pain?
Question Author
she says the forceps pain should be gone by now, though who knows. Colic sounds plausible to me. jno jnr himself was a lovely quiet baby, so it must come from the Viking side of the family...
-4° here today and I am sitting out having a coffee at a cafe! Has to collect some meds.
Yes I got my haircut by the dreadful one and yes it looks awful!
We are lighting the log fire today as it warms the whole villa
hope babe is better today
Maybe put baby in a warm moist bathroom. It's what we did for croup! I'm so glad I didnt have colicky baby wouldn't have had a clue what to do! Hope Ophelia is feeling better now!
Question Author
she spends most of her time crying, by the sound of it. Stressful for parents, and grandparents aren't allowed to help. They're both on leave but jno jnr's technically back at work - from home - next week or the week after, which is going to be exhausting all round.
That sounds awful. I hope they can get more advice if they need it.
Hello all
Grim weather. Freezing cold and it was snowing earlier but didn't amount to anything.
Aaw poor little soul . Probably colic.Gripe water used to ease it but I doubt that's recommended for babies these days although I take a swig of it for upset stomach sometimes.
I read a thread about saving electricity.I laughed until I nearly cried. Somebody wrote...lick your plates clean to save on washing up! I'm easily amused.
Hope you're all ok . Keep warm.
shaney that's why I have got a dog, saves me a fortune in washing up liquid.

ooh neti, is Filomena heading your way? Sounds very snowy

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-55586751
Yes indeed jno. Most flights to Madrid are cancelled and the national trains not running. No snow here but wet sunny damp and dark in turn. Our landline phone hasnt worked since NYE hija reported it and they are coming to tomorrow to sort it!
It's part of our internet package and all my siblings call me on it.
Watching Sense and sensibility. Have the lounge all to myself with a roaring log fire
Well pleased!!
Any change with Orphelia?
Question Author
still waiting to hear, neti. I don't dare phone in case they're having one of their rare periods of sleep.
