I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

aaargh the fridge has turned itself off. Sometime yesterday by the look of it. We just switched it off at the wall then on again (having hauled the whole kaboodle out) and it's going again. I hope we haven't lost any important meals but some of the sorbets sound very slushy
Telephone man coming in a minute and guess what? It's working fine now! We've worked out that its down to the wind and rain so obviously a box outside somewhere isnt sealed!
At least its not raining today, deep joy! If weather stayed clement I shall at last be able to wash the bedding mañana! I do have a fryer but too expensive to use if washing is really wet. Oh and our electricity is doubling and is already the most expensive in Europe!
Morning all
Freezing cold and foggy.Heavy frost frost thing.
I might sew myself into my vest until April.
That's looks picturesque in Madrid Neti from some of the pics I've seen but I expect they're finding it difficult to cope with as it isn't something you often see in Spain is it.
Don't put your washing in the fryer it'll go all crispy:)
Nothing doing here. Same old.
Reading ,knitting, jigsaws,TV,crosswords, whatsapping and gassing on the phone interspersed by meals, household stuff, mucking about with my hair, varnishing my nails and getting shopping deliveries. Rinse and repeat for the foreseeable future.
I hope Ophelia is more settled Jno.Those first few months are wearying but hopefully they'll soon settle into a routine.
Hope you're all well, staying safe and keeping warm.
Haha fryer! What am I like? Technician has been and has changed the modem but blames my UK cordless telephone! Had a bad connection at first but we sorted it! Now all Netflix and YouTube and freesat working ok!

Ophelia dropped by this afternoon. Mostly asleep but opened her eyes and looked around occasionally, without crying. Such a sweet wee thing. I rocked her in my arms for 20 minutes, which hasn't done my back much good - they've bought an electric rocker to give themselves a break, which sounds sensible.
Oh how I remember the kids of having a new baby! It's nothing like one imagined!!
Well we are I level 4 from Wednesday so.tomorrow on out for a coffee. before it all closes. At least this ghastly haircut will have grown out by the time we are set free again!! Nothing but rain and storms all day! Hija has been offered a job in Dubai!
*the Joys of having...*
how lovely Jno and the electric rocker sounds like a great idea.
Question Author
lordy, I've been looking at them... no idea what sort they've got, but obviously you'd need at least five swing amplitudes, timer, Bluetooth with 10 tunes, five-point safety belt, and a mosquito net

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation

I don't think I ever managed more than three tunes when singing jno jnr to sleep
hilarious
I bet you were pleased to see her Jno.
That rocker looks good . They've got some high tech stuff for babies now.I used to put the vacuum cleaner on.White noise.
I wonder if they do an adult version of that rocker.
Gosh if they did shaney I would be sick!

I like the ones with remote controls. That way you don't have to get out of bed, just switch it to full spin and go back to sleep.
Morning all. Seems as though our cold snap is departing! And jve just bought a thermal vest, its lovely! Postman has just delivered to wrong house my birthday cards send from UK in September! Also an xmas parcel which I have to collect before 21st and the Post office is closed for deep cleaning as so done caught covid!
How is Orphelia? Hopefully settled by now and poor parents having a better time!
Hope you are all ok and keeping well .

Ophelia seems to have improved a bit but parents are having a hard time none the less as there's something wrong with their building, and having first accepted responsibility (because they built it), Barratts have now decided not to. I can see this one going to court, as if they haven't got enough on their hands

BBC promising heavy snow here tomorrow so I may have to skip the sunbathing.
Had a proper hair trim yesterday. Was on a walk with hija and saw good hairdresser in shop so nipped in. Its rather short but done properly and will grow out nicely. And I'm not going anywhere!

well. No snow at all, not a flake, just rain. But my sister, who was only supposed to get sleet, got quite a nice little snowfall. This is so unfair.
we got wet and cold here but not the forecast ice. Glad to hear that Ophelia is making progress but what a stressor about the flat.
I hope you are all keeping well. Lockdown isn't making much of a change here but I will be glad to finally get the vaccine and even gladder when my sibs get it. Both of them are older than me. waving to Robi and Shaney. Neti you are lucky, hairdressers not allowed to open here, I don't care but my sis who visits is pretty fed up.
Woke up to a good covering of snow this morning but it soon melted away.
That's very stressful for the juniors Jno.These sort of things drag on too and nobody can sell in those circumstances.I've seen other instances of this in the news.Shoddy work which nobody will own up to.I hope it gets resolved sooner rather than later.
I wish I could get my hair cut.I feel so untidy. All the highlights have grown out now.
I'd gladly forego my vaccine until later so that those who have to go to work get it first.Key workers are more important than an old fogie like me who can stay out of harms way. Picky is having to work in unsafe conditions in his workplace and goes to construction sites where there's no social distancing and hardly any masks worn and it worries me sick.
Hope you're all ok though.Keep well and warm.
