I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

The surgery must be psychic and knew I was ringing them. Just after I posted on here they rang me and we go on Saturday morning for our jabs.I shall turn to the left then Woofy:)
We had heavy snow for a couple of hours earlier. The snow lays round about deep and crisp and even out there. No wind ,all is still.Real feel minus 7.It looks lovely, especially over at the church which is always floodlit until midnight.
Night all.Keep warm.

I think they need to know which arm you use less, shaney. Just in case it should become infected and drop off, that sort of thing.

only one more day of zero degrees to go (I hope). I've got so many blankets piled on the bed I can hardly breathe.
I don't normally feel the cold but I have had the heating running full blast. I got my NHS vac invite today :) The centre is in the local city where the infection rate is much higher than here so I am going to give it a day or so and hope that the GP one comes soon.

that makes sense, woofgang. As long as you're able to isolate at home, it makes sense to stay as safe as possible as long as possible. I was lucky to get one at the local cottage hospital; there was hardly anyone theer (which is why they did me when I didn't have an invitation).

I've walked to the local Sainsbury's the last couple of days and the streets have been almost empty, probably because it's so perishing cold - usually even in lockdown there have been more people around.
Hello all
From the Balkans 'cos that's what it feels like . It's been a bright sunny day but with a bitterly cold blasting wind.
We had our jabs this morning.Picky offered to come over and take us to the surgery and we took him up on it as the pavements and some of the back roads are like sheets of ice and I wouldn't have able to walk there in that. My arm hasn't dropped off yet Jno :)
I made a big cauldron of soup yesterday and sent him home with a tubful so he was happy.
All very efficient at the surgery,we were in and out in ten minutes.
Hope you get news soon Woofy.
Otherwise nothing doing. We've been esconced in the front room watching old episodes of Midsomer and eating soup with toasted cheese and ham paninis.
Night all ,sleep tight and keep warm.

good news, shaney.
I must be then only biddy without a vaccine in sight!!
Sunny but chilly here. Hija has been offered a job in Barcelona so is flying there on Wednesday. It'll do her good rather then being cooped up here and moaning!! It's her gbf who has a catering business and he is opening up a restaurant. She will live in his house too.
Mr N is making a beef Wellington today. I'm not bothered. Its just meat pie to me!
I've broken two Venetian blinds this week. One fell on my head!
good job the venetian blind didn't break you!
Oh Spain is getting 100 million vaccines. I may be in with a chance!!
The beef Wellington was delish
I've got a huge red swollen itchy eye. Look a right mess!
hello all. Got my appointment and going thursday. Its not the GP stream, its the national scheme but the location is right on the edge of the city with masses of open air parking. Our local GP's have asked all us healthy old uns to go through the national scheme if we can so that they can focus on the less well olduns and the clinically vulnerable of all ages which is fair enough. Bonus is I can book both appointments so have got some clarity about the future. Sis is here to look after trouble dog so win win. Oh neti what have you done now?
waves to everyone
Hello all
Good news Woofy. Not far to go for you either.
They didn't give us an indication of when we get the next dose but we got a card to take with us when we do go.I have to say now that I was apprehensive about it because of the bad reaction to the one and only flu jab I've ever had,but I've had no side effects so far, touch wood, and neither has Mr S.
Crikey Neti ,you are in the wars. How do you make a Venetian blind ? Poke him in the eye...boom boom :)
Bit milder now and all the snow and ice has gone.Hope you're all ok.

I do like Waitrose ginger beer but they have these waffer-thin cans that crumple and leak if you look at them too hard. That's the second time in a week it's happened.

Good that you can arrange a second jab, woofgang, I don't know when ours will be though in theory it's only a week from now, as they told us 28 days and the first was on the 26th.

However, OH got a letter today saying to keep on shielding even if you've had a second jab. I suppose we won't be allowed out until the entire nation is inoculated and the R number is 0.
Yes they have made clear all along that the law is to carry on following the roolz regardless of vaccination status and the ADVICE is for people shielding to continue to shield after the vac. I have to say it gets up my nose when the beeb etc say that people are "TOLD to shield" as though they are toddlers.
Its stupid, I am not at all worried about getting the jab, side effects and so on. My biggest worry is that it will be the furthest that I have driven on the busiest roads for more than a year!
Question Author
you have busy roads? Even the North Circular looks more like a nature reserve these days...
the local A road here goes past the houses whose gardens back onto my garden. During lockdown one it was totally quiet, this time the road noise sounds like a normal pre covid day (and night). More planes going over too.
Question Author
that's a surprise. We're under one of the Heathrow flight paths - they seem to switch them during the day so nobody gets it all day; but we hardly see or hear a plane now. They must have all been diverted to Beaulieu International.
I think they fly to the Channels and the Scillies from here. Years ago we used to be the first "normal" place in mainland UK to get Jersey potatoes because they were brought in by plane to Southampton for posh London restaurants and places like Harrods . I used to buy them in local greengrocers and post them or take them up to my Mum in London. They used to come in the traditional round wooden lidded tubs.
Dont talk time about planes. every morning about 4am the US navy fly a Lockheed Hercules from Gibralter to somewhere and right over my house. It takes forever and its so loud. It's also a tad scary!!
Well hija has flown the nest again after 4 months and I miss her! She been offered a job in Barcelona. Had to show proof to the guardia civil as they wont allow anyone in or out of the island without a justified reason. There are mumblings about a vaccine for 70s+ but nothing definite. There are also rumblings about bar terraces opening on March 2nd and I'll be off like a shot for a coffee!!
