I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

that's good news, neti, congratulations.

Memo to self: when you know you're going to have a tooth pulled out, stop taking the aspirin. That is all.
Why jno?
Question Author
thins the blood so the socket takes longer to stop bleeding, neti. I had dressings jammed in the gap for hours.
oh no jno!

Early start here tomorrow, the men are coming to sort out my trees and the front garden. I have to be up dressed ready and cogent by 8am. Its going to be hard.
Question Author
my next extraction is due on Thursday week, woofgang; I didn't think I could cope with two on the same day. I am trying to learn my lesson by putting the aspirins under lock and key.
Hello all
Ooh that sounds very painful Jno. I hope you soon feel better. At least you've now got some respite until the next lot. I need to see the dentist but can't get an appt.I'm not in any agony though just a wobbler. If it comes out it comes out.
Facemasks will hide the gap for now, apart from which I'm hardly getting close up and personal with anybody these days apart from Mr S and he can't chase me round the room .He's got a dodgy knee ...haha .
That's good news for you Neti. I expect you feel relieved.
Nothing doing here. Grotty sort of day, cold, grey and drizzly.
We watched The Dig on Netflix this evening. Nice film and they actually got the Suffolk accent right.
Good luck with your garden work tomorrow Woofy.
Night all sleep tight.

we're going to watch The Dig in the next day or two, if medical appointments get into the way and I can remember how to get Netflix on the telly. It's available on OH's iPad, thanks to some techie thing jno jnr did, but there's not enough room for us both to watch it there. Instead I watched This Happy Breed, which has been beautifully restored.
Question Author
*don't* get in the way (tomorrow is scan, Thursday is phone consultation with haemo, but I think we have Friday off).
Yes it's very wearing having appointments everyday. I live being app free which is why I'm not reminding the mexico that I need a 6 month checkup! Hope OH feels ok jno! I only have 2 teeth at the back that I can eat with. But the front ones are ok for smiling!
Just checked and I can get The Dig on netflix. What's it about?
Question Author
it's about finding the Sutton Hoo treasure, neti, about 10 seconds before the war broke out. I believe the love story in the film is imaginary, though.

tree men have done a lovely job...that company always do. As well as the practical aspect, they do a lovely job of shaping and leave the trees looking better.
Hello all. Hope everyone is ok! Sunny here but gets chilly later. I'm watching Its a Sin. and I'm enjoying it. There are a few scenes that I could live without but apart from that!
Afternoon all
Nice sunny day here too but snow forecast for the weekend.
I watched a couple of episodes of that Neti. I don't know if I'll continue though as it's so sad.A pandemic of a different kind.
Nothing much doing here. Hope you're all well.
hello all. Too sad to watch. I don't deal well with sad TV at any time and definitely not now. Both of my older sis's have now been jabbed which is excellent. We have got cold and snow forecast for next week and a cold weekend. Thank goodness for central heating.

enjoyed The Dig, Shaney. Quite slow-moving, but that's archaeology for you, they don't all have Lost Arks.

OH's latest scan is encouraging, situation stable, secondary things that might be tumours probably aren't. In fact if it wasn't for Covid and OH's foot woes we'd probably be leading a normal life, but who is these days.
That's good news jno.
I started watching The Dig. Its interesting. Will finish it today. I will also try to watch more of Its a sin. I remember when I was due to give birth I had to have a friend standing by with the same r neg blood due to the aids scare.
Morning all
Bit grim out there. Seems we're in for beast from the east 2.
Looking at the Accu temps here it could be minus 14 real feel.Blimey.
Jno,I've started watching This Happy Breed on Google Play.Donkeys years since I saw it and they certainly have restored it well. Really sharp and the colour is great.I often watch stuff from the BFI.That's good news about your OH.
Hope you're all ok.Keep warm.
Question Author
yes, realfeel only minus 10 here tomorrow but the BBC thinks we'll have snow coming down all day. The last snowfall was very pretty but it only took half an hour to fall. All day is a very long time.
It's a sin was so good. Didnt like Richie but loved Colin and the others. A bit sad. That Jill was so good to them all.
