I am vaccinated! Got Astra Zeneca. Even better I did loads of driving through brisk city traffic and roadworks and I, the car, and the locals are all in undamaged condition.
The lovely vaccinator lady said "today we are using Astra Zeneca" as though she was listing the backboard special lunches of the day which made me giggle
Well spain wont give the AZ to anyone over 55 as they say it hasnt been tested on older people so we arent getting it! They are only looking after us I suppose.
Good morning all, still alive and chipper and my arm hasn't fallen off. Did I tell you we have no heating or hot water? Fixing man can't get here till wednesday but luckily I have got plug in radiators and a couple of spare large kettles so we will be ok if a bit whiffy.
OH Woofy whiff away ! We have been warned that we will have no electricity tomorrow! But I've done a load of washing today to make up for it!! Its glorious weather at the moment !
Well done Woofy and hope you soon get your plumbing sorted
That's a long wait Neti, mind you I hear this from Germany too.
Various friends of our age haven't been vaccinated yet and don't know when they will be.
I still keep in touch with an 82 year old lady who is a distant cousin of my MiL.We correspond by letter and we phone from time to time as she has no computer etc.and she told me she wouldn't get hers until April.
Not much doing here. Night night.
the unexpected thing is we're heard from rellies in Georgia, the USA one, about 70, who've had both jabs. I think a lot of the problems with vaccines in the USA are down to local conditions, but they've done better than we have (which doesn't surprise me); I've no idea when we'll be called in again.
I've tried reading that paper, thanks, woofgang. but it's a little over my head.
Sorry woofy. It's very quick once they have received the old passport. Mine of course took 9 days to get there ( recorded delivery) but once there I got my new one delivered to my door in about 5 days
yeah Jno, that paper was over my head too but I managed to pull out of it that older healthy people seemed to get the same amount of protection and non hospitalisation outcomes as the younger ones. Of course they don't test on unhealthy folk of any age.
