I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

Brother Ronnie is 71 today. He always seems so young!
Question Author
I can make up for that by seeming to be about 81.

Second jab done and dusted. But apparently this doesn't mean complete immortality.

being vaccinated does NOT mean you can invite your friend over for a cask of amontillado sherry, while secretly planning to entomb him within your basement in revenge for a perceived slight

Being vaccinated does NOT mean you can host an extravagant party at your West Egg mansion that symbolizes the superficiality and moral corruption of the rich

Being vaccinated does NOT mean you can invite 5 children and their adult chaperones to your chocolate factory to be masochistically tortured in various candy making processes while you arbitrarily choose one to inherit your fortune

..and you can still get covid albeit not so seriously and you can still infect others. It's to help hospitals cope
happy birthday to Ronnie! Neti its way less likely that you will catch covid and its not yet known about passing it on, although this blog post from Public Health England says that you are less likely to pass it on. https://publichealthmatters.blog.gov.uk/2021/02/23/covid-19-analysing-first-vaccine-effectiveness-in-the-uk/

well, it was almost warm today, and no snow (though they did promise some). I think we are infested by sycamores again, they're peeking their heads above ground and I am gently and lovingly pulling them out by their roots. But there are literally hundreds of them.
Oh deary me. Hija missed her flight here yesterday as train was late to airport. She rebooked for today. Had no money for bus to airport so begged a free ride. At airport she found she had booked the wrong way, couldnt change it so stole a free bus ride back again! I've told her it wasnt meant to be yet! Tuesday 13th is Spain's unlucky day and yes it is. We have sent her some money via giro. The good news is I am due a pfizer jab tomorrow at 5pm and a follow up jab on May 5th! Also grand weather so have finally managed to wash bedsheets. I just want a quiet life!!
As I had to go out I bought cat food ( feral cat getting very fussy) I had a coffee and then bought myself a black denim jacket. I now have 3. A light blue one a dark blue one ( actually 2 dark blue ones as one is rather large) and now a black one. Well why not?
Question Author
excellent news about the jabs, neti.
oh that is excellent news about the jabs....I have got a thing about denim jackets, mine are pale denim, dark denim, rusty/russet corduroy, shocking pink and airforce blue corduroy. I have also got two denim jackets with a japanese vibe. I have collected them over quite a few years, they just make an outfit.
Mr N has been invited for his vaccine so he asked if it could be same time and place as me and yay . So we go together!
Question Author
you'll all go together when you go, neti.

Just had an email from a relative down south - her daughter's coming to visit for the first time since lockdown. She's a nurse but get this ...she used to be a hairdresser! Excitement all round!
Hello all
Quick pop in before bed.
That's good news at last Neti. I hope we hear about our second dose soon.
I bet you are excited Jno. I was too until I rang for an appointment today and can't get my hair cut until the middle of May.She's chock a block and said she worked from 8am until 10 pm yesterday.
I've gone back to the 80's and have got my hair up in a scrunchie.Perhaps I'd better buy a denim jacket :) Leg warmers wouldn't go amiss either as it's been very cold although lovely sunshine yesterday and today. Hope you're all well . Big wave and night all.

great news all round. Shaney I bought ducks beak clips when I started to grow mine. One clip holds it up nicely and is easy to re-do if it loosens. I have got plain ones for sensible and these for fun Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
Question Author
oh, I get my hair done at home already, Shaney, so I won't be going down to Hampshire for a trim. Maybe I should ask cousin V for some before and after photos just to see how feral they've all gone.
Morning all
Lovely one again but still chilly.
Haha Jno I read that all wrong.I thought they were coming to visit you.
Lockdown brain fog strikes again. Those clips are really nice Woofy. I've got some plain black ones like that somewhere. I'll have to find them. I think they are sectioning clips but do the same job I suppose.
Although I may visit the hairdresser I am reluctant as dont know who I'll get so have been chopping it myself. Once I have a pair of thinning shears in my hand I'm a devil and cant stop regrettably! Doesn't look too good but as it's spikey I can get away with it. Will have to dave up the euros and go there I suppose!
Waves to Robi.
Question Author
Hahaha jno! I am so indecisive I cant stick to any guns!!
We have been jabbed. It's all very efficient and friendly! Luckily I had a stew going in slow cooker so we came home to that as it's quite chilly thought I may not feel.like cooking after the jab. I dont like going out anymore am so happy to get home!!
Question Author
well done, neti, you should be immune to viruses, tsetse flies and small nuclear devices now.
Oh what a night. Mr N was shaking uncontrollably for 3 hrs. He wasnt cold and I just didnt know what to do. He's ok now and sleeping. My arm is sore and swollen. We are taking it easy today.
