I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

oh, still some way to go then. That is the price you pay for being young and fit, I suppose. Hopefully you'll be done before the Hampshire Variant breaks loose.
My second jab is due May 5th and Mr Ns is 7th July but he'll probably do a runner before that!!
Oh oh he's defo getting better. He's been up and organising the cheese biscuits into tins!!
great news Neti. Jno, my family are spread across the country so the variants will have to move blooming fast to get all of us.

well, this is perplexing, I have lost a packet of M&S cookies. I bought them, paid for them, put them in the bag in the trolley, wheeled them to the car, and put the empty trolley back in its corner. Now here I am home and no cookies. They're not still in the bag or in the car, I've looked.

I suppose the police are too busy catching Covid felons to deal with this sort of thimg. Maybe I could call up Enid Blyton and get the Famous Five to investigate?
You must have a cookie monster stalking you Jno and he's put a tracking device on your car:)
Another lovely day but I wish it was a bit warmer. Picky came over yesterday but it was too cold to sit outside so we just opened up the patio doors and he sat out in the sun room for a cuppa and something to eat.He did a lateral flow test which was negative but still avoided getting too near.
These ads are annoying. Tried rejecting cookies but it just slowed my computer and the site down and it froze at one stage. The constant flashing makes my eyes go funny and ads for ad blockers? What's that all about.
Hope you're all well.KBO.

yes the ads are driving me crackers
A few ads would be Ok but this really is over the top and blerdy annoying.
I remember losing a packet of bacon and finding in months later in a screwed up carrier bag it was......not nice......
Hello all. How si everyone? My N is better but seems to have a cold now. I felt really bad yesterday. A very sore inside mouth, headache and my body felt like lead. Took such an effort to move so went back to bed at noon. Feel fine today. Surely not a 9th day reaction to the vaccine?
I hope not Neti. Chilly and bright here. Sis arrives tomorrow. She is desperate for a haircut and will dogsit while I get my second vac. Hope everyone is KBO, special wave for Robi

another nice warm day. I went for a stroll along the river - I passed the covid memorial wall opposite parliament. Thousands of little red hearts; if you want you can write the name of someone you've lost on one of them, though a lot are still empty. Of the ones that were there, with dates, lots of grannies and grrandpas and a few people in their 90s, but I was surprised to see so many who were younger than me.
I didn't know about that Jno. I am one of the blessed ones who have no one who needs a memorial heart.

likewise and long may it last.

This is the wall

As you can see, though it's longer than the houses of parliament across the river, most of the hearts are still unclaimed; but anyone can add a name as they pass by. Many more at the other end, near Westminster bridge, do have names on already.
truly heartbreaking
Hello. How is everyone? Finally got Mr N up and back to working on the house.
Shaney theres another rail programme with Portillo, so pleased as I do enjoy them.
Ooh ,thanks Neti. I must have missed that in the Radio Times . I've made a note. I watched Make up, a glamorous history earlier tonight. It's very good. Three parter starting with the georgians and tonight was the victorians.Social history which I like. The georgians used to use mouse hide as false eyebrows. Yuk.
Glad to see you've nursed Mr N back to good health :)
Nice weather here, beautiful sunshine but I wish it would warm up.It's warmish in the back garden with the sun but open the front door and the breeze off the sea is bloomin' cold.
That wall is something to behold Jno and so terribly sad.
Nothing to report otherwise. Hope you're all well including loved ones and the woofer.

oh dear, our garden hose is visible from space. You can see it snaking round the lawn in the latest Google satellite view. I wish they'd told us they were sending up a satellite that day, we could have coiled it up. The neighbours will think we're lowering the tone.
hilarious Jno
my car magically changes size and colour on google maps
