Asking For My Password

Suddenly on my Samsung phone it says there is a problem with my account and is asking me to verify my identity by tapping in before I use my email.  I am just ignoring it, and can still use my email.  Is someone trying to hack in or is this nothing to worry about?  I don't have this notification on my iPad. How can I get rid of this pop up? Thanks all.

On trying to use email now, there is another pop up which says There was a problem signing into your account.  Enter your password again... so I just press Cancel but it won't go away ...

Ok all, no worries.  I got very technical ...  l switched the phone off and on again and the message seems to have disappeared!!  Panic over...
