Electricity In Dubai?
Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

well, I have sat around much of the day, though I did pop out and trim the hedges (with a three-hour break for the trimmer to charge up again). Tomorrow is my one day a year watching cricket. I understand there is some football on as well, but I won't bother with it.

Hello all. Am very pleased with my purchases today. I've also cooked a turkey /veg soup for Hija as it makes people better supposedly, make a spag putanesca for Mr N. He says he's painting the pool tomorrow so soon I'll be a veritable mermaid!!
Hija went to urgencias as she need a justification for work, it was her normal mexico anyway so he's written her off toll Sunday and that's her daynoff. I think she is on the mend although her nose is sunny and sore.

Good morning all. We all had done a bad night. Hija vomiting every few mins and the cat shouting most of the time. Shattered.
Pool's been painted now so maybe fill it tomorrow although it's a tad cooler today but that's more down to less humidity which is nice.

Hija insists on working tonight as she is worried she'll lose her job even through the mexico has signed her off.
The Americans was so good. Am waiting a couple of days to see if it comes up as a complete series cos then it'll be in order. It seems that when I do it in order it reproduces randomly which is a nuisance. I really enjoyed this series.

Nice and sunny although Accu are threating thunderstorms .
Gives Woofy a royal wave ...lol.Very nice .I hope you wore your tiaras.
I watched the highlights of trooping the colour.We know how to put on show.
Then of course it was football and tonight it's more of the same .
Mr S is in on hot bricks as Germany play tonight .We also have a little flag and the football bear sat on the mantelpiece,how silly :)

No Trooping of the Colour yesterday, just lots of drooping colour. Despite the cloudbursts it was a wonderful day and everything went smoothly...apart from the hair do's, frizz was the mode du jour. :) Very tired today.
Lovely pics woofy, I'm sure her Maj will pop round to give her approval. :)

Another soggy Derbyshire day, I can almost see the grass growing and the hedges will meet in the middle if this keeps up. I wish the clouds would lift, this sinus headache's getting tedious, but there seems to be no hope before Friday.
