Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Not much chance of a suntan here. Warmer today but still overcast.Even if I could sit out it would be impossible with all the lumber still out there on the patio but I could always sit on the fence:)

Its been an “interesting” day here. Shughy still believes that the least bit of grey sky or rain means a storm and its time to panic. Rab believes that running around the garden won’t make his shoulder hurt. Neither are right of course but there’s no telling them!

Had a very quiet paella lunch, just cool. Hija has gone to the beach with friends. So I siestas for a couple of hours. Mr N has just gone to a friend's house to see the end of the golf, he was in 2 minds but I persuaded him to go. All on my own now, ahh peace!
That st Moritz self tan is very good,,very natural but I do not apply it every night. I did buy a tanning mit and it helps spread it evenly.
I am not growing old gracefully nor do I look like Donatella Versace!

Good morning all, what do you get if you get an old woman and an old cat ? A very very disturbed night. Honestly Mousey was up and down, in and out every 30 mins. Poor thing she isn't aware of much. But is driving me mad. How comes she sleeps perfectly all day and then not at night?

It wasn't humid at all last Ightfield so fingers crossed for today, the heat is so much easier to bear without the dripping humidity,

Not just cats....I was woken at 5am by the dogs because it was raining and they were worried. We have had much pacing and panicking until about 10 minutes ago> the good news is we are at corner turning day for Rab’s poorly shoulder...the bad news is it will be even harder to keep him resting :)

Morning...first day of summer....yay!
It's grey, cold, hasn't stopped raining since yesterday teatime...there's a robin bobbin in the garden...hoping it'll soon be xmas and it'll warm up I expect.

Cloudy and warm but not raining .Makes a change.I wouldn't ditch your pacamac just yet though Robinia .Looks like more on the way for tomorrow and Thursday .Torrentional downpours forecast round here anyway.

Good morning. Hot here again. Nose and eye are running amok! There was abfashion shoot in the square and they sat next to me for coffee and the photographer said what pretty feet I had and took some photos! Strange or what? He bought my coffees so I didnt mind. Prob got a foot fetish!

But the good news is ......
It's 98% healed .Yippee ki-ay.Been measured for socks and as soon as the last scabby bits are off and the excoriation around it has calmed I might be on the home straight.

Mr S is on the edge of his seat ..lol.
It looks a whole lot better.Just dry and scabby now instead of the oozing mess it was before.The nurses deserve a medal,they've been fantastic.

It's lovely here in the S of F - the Mistral was a bit too nippy to sunbathe on the barge sun deck for a couple of days but it's been fab since then. We have just been bussed round the Camargue to look at black Bulls, white horses and pink flamingoes, will lie at anchor in the canal overnight then chug on to Arles. Kindly arrange for warmer weather on my return in a couple of days.

Bet Mr S is a happy bunny now. We have Spain to watch but they are going through anyway.
I'm beginning to have my doubts that my irritated runny itchy eye is anything to do with my nose. Just seems no connection when I look on internet and nose surgeon thought it strange. Ah well, I've had the tooth and cyst out, now having a nose job, if that doesn't sort it, I'll go back to the eye doctor.
