Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Evening all
One of those couldn't make it's mind up weatherwise days but dry and warm .
Vanishing cream,that's a blast from the past.I used to use it but it never made anything vanish.It's £16.99 on Amazon .Last jar I bought was about five bob.
Please don't mention Andrews liver salts..lol ,it's been one of those days for me and I'm never going to eat ice cream again,never ever. I love a Pepsi float on a hot day but I think even that is out of the question now.
Hope you're all ok though.Same old here .Loved the Proms tonight,Gershwin and songs from musicals .Brilliant.

Good morning, rubbish night's sleep so today I'll mostly be a woman of few words and trying to stay awake.
It looks very dull out there so I won't bother with any washing. Had enough fun with that yesterday when I realised I'd done a dark coloured load with a tissue in one of the pockets.

Good morning all. I also had a bad night. Hija finishes worknat 3am so i wake up and worry until she gets home. Then incant sleep. Mr N bounces and fidgets then he got.up at 4.30 to watch Olympics then back to bed. Drives me crazy.

Then we learned last evening that a friend had died. It was a shock to me as although she had brain and breast cancer she was being treated for the brain one and had been fighting it well. So funerl on Tues
Which is late as it's usually the next day. But will be one of the first cremations here.

Shughy had his annual meeting with a hedgehog last night. It goes like this
Sniff hedgehog, scream.
Paw hedgehog, scream.
Pick hedgehog up run around screaming.
Drop hedgehog and repeat until exasperated owner comes out with a lead and takes dogs indoors. Owner then moves unharmed but very peeved hedgehog to tortoise pen.
Greet owner with hugely waggy tail and go outside to search for another hedgehog. Happily he never finds one.
He’ll be 9 in November....I mean you’d think he’d have learned by now.......

We drove inland and luckily got an table at the restaurant for then famous tortilla but it was airless so so hot even in the shade, I was shattered doing nothing but eating. By the time we came home I had a raging headache which isn't something I get often. Took a 1g paracetamol and dozed in the cool. Feel better now.
Can't stand it.

The evening seems to be crowning the day here. Cloudy all day and now brilliant sunshine.Warm but not exactly the heatwave they were blaring about.
Lol Woofy ,they never learn.Shaney spent a large amount of time chasing after squirrels knowing damn well he'd never catch them.
Hope you're all ok .Going to watch the tennis later ,hope Andy gets a gold.

Well I can do things like the with couscous it doesn't seem overly difficult, in fact I can make more of a mess, and say it looks like an ancient city .
Just eaten a small punnet of strawberries from Segovia, really tasty. We only get Strawberries occasionally, they are not imported.

I dislike couscous, not the veg and meat but the actually pasta stuff whatever it is. Its like semolina bkeufh on my tongue.

I'm running late because I watched Andy Murray last night. Well I did fall asleep after a couple of hours but woke in time to see him win. Well done lad.

Couscous, tut....you should see what I can create with some mash and a tomato sausage.
