Electricity In Dubai?
Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

OMG neti's been here all along but invisible... when I was on the previous page I got there by clicking on Last, and there was no next page to click on. I only got here by posting an answer myself. It's still counting the number of posts wrong, 1481 including mine even though mine is second on the page. Really, everything's so confusing these days.
I had that the other day .My post appeared later than I posted it.
There's a time lag somewhere .In my profile it said I'd posted an answer but it didn't appear until about ten minutes later.
For one awful moment I thought that I'd posted in a totally unrelated thread and people would be subjected to my rambling on about nothing in particular :)

That 15.30 post didn't appear so I wrote a quick one saying I cba to repeat myself! And that hasn't appeared. It's these damned Pokemon! I actually have a very rare one!

What a strange dream I had. Some local hippies asked me to take a kitten somewhere, it was so sweet and had a red ribbon, but was more like a baby, I wrapped it in a blanket and trudged miles but in Eastbourne. Kept trying to phone my sister but weird new flipphone wouldn't work, the buttons kept disappearing. Some kind people gave me a lift and then I walked back again, and the kitten was so well behaved!
Really must lay off the cheese,

I don't think I'd like the doughnut, I prefer tall constructions to be wider at the bottom than the top....it's too late once you're up there and throwing a wobbly.
More dreams here, what's going on? The trouble is I wake up with my head in such a confused fog and it takes ages to clear, I hate it. I dreamt my ex sister-in-law was running the Tarquin's house as a b&b...but it was in Wales! It was a mess, cluttered and piles of laundry everywhere. I'm not sure how it got transported there, it's very old stone, it would be like moving the pyramids.
My aim was to be out at the shops early but thanks to the fuzzy head that hasn't happened. I might do some domestics instead. I love this advert, I want the dog....

I hope so. All they're really looking for is some reason why hip, knee and foot are all playing up at once. Hip bone and the knee bone may be connected, but I don't think the foot has anything to do with it.
Still, they might just find a little piece of string that'll make everything work again when they give it a tug.

I wish they could just pull a bit of string and make everything work again .I phoned for an appt yesterday to discuss my xray results Couldn't get anything for my GP until 7th Sept.

My neighbour a couple of doors down had a hip replacement about three months ago and it's gone wrong.It's popped out of the socket. Poor chap has to go back and have it realigned.
I think I'll just hobble on and hope they come up with the string solution :)

Oh dear not a very healthy lot are we.yes shaney you are right, it's wear and tear is the diagnosis usually, and well you are old! Old! Not getting old! Tell it how it is doctor,
Maybe your foot hurts because you are walking oddly due to hip and knee? That's my diagnosis,
Just had another weird dream, Mr N was in this one, he's not in many. It wasn't a disturbing dream just weird about visiting a lighthouse, but we ate curry last night and that may explain a lot.

Back to long sleeves....I'm declaring it un-ironed Friday.
Yes I'm sure that pain has a knock on effect, when I start in my hip(s) it's not long before the rest of the joints join in. Ooh to be re-strung (and re-wired) would be great...we had a doll's hospital in our town and many a doll was given a new lease of life there. No waiting list and no infections :)
