Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Good morning. Wish it was only 20° here. Found a huge cockroach in the kitchen last night. I even frightened myself by the scream. Mr N galloped to the rescue and demolished the lil critter!! Yuk. I deal with dead cats. Rats. Mice and half lizards but cannot do a cockroach.
Hope you are all fine. My nose/eye really played up yesterday so hot and swollen and weepy. Looked awful.

Helloo...I'm threeswonked and it's only lunch time. Been to the dentist, all ok, just a clean. I'm glad they've got air con, it's a rf of 25C. Thought I was going to need to spend my £12.50 euro winnings hiring a rickshaw to take me there.

forlorn hope here Robi. I have cancelled my haircut for tomorrow as too hot to shut dogs in house....will go when my sis is here in 4 weeks so she can stay home with dogs...I will look like an Old English sheepdog by then...

She's looking for a room to, rent but prices are horrendous. For an internal room it's £730 and an outer one with balcony £850!!!

Phew ..it's forswonckingly hot .Real feel 30C here.
The birds are jostling for position on the bird bath.I've got loads of sparrows in the garden and they're so comical to watch jumping about in the water like a lot of naughty children.
Very noisy here atm .The men are over in the park cutting the hedges and shubbery.Someone had pitched a tent there overnight and got a rude awakening this morning.I watched him scuttling about trying to pack his stuff up as they came ever nearer with their chipping machine.

It's going hazy here or maybe I'm fading. Not sure what the temperature reached but there's been a breeze keeping it comfortable.

Haha, same here with the sparrows, there's a big flock of them in my garden. I've got three bird baths outside my window, it's lovely entertainment. I love the way that there's always one who's nervous until the bold ones show him/her how it's done. :)

Good morning. Off to a private clinic ( where Hija was born) to have a mammogram as nh one finishes when one is 70! Ridiculous esp as sis and mum had breast cancer!! Costs 150€ not many pensioners can afford it!!
Nice day here am getting the 11 am bus for app at 12.15.

good morning, I am ninetysevenswonked. All afternoon yesterday it was like being in a sauna, very hot and heavy loads of thunder but almost no rain. The poor fish were gasping at the surface of the pond so I had to put the hose on the surface. Dogs were in a right state. Then we had a hot unpleasant night, then poor Shughy was sick. Anyway we are doing naff all today.

Much cooler here today ,nice breeze but we've had no rain. It was quite misty first thing but the sun has got out now.

I do wish someone would turn her bloody record over in the News section.Her needle must be stuck.You should see some of the flab all hanging out on our beach .Some of them could do with covering up:)

still steaming outside here, around 30 and humid. I have been pulling out clover by the roots before it takes over the whole lawn. Fortunately after the wet spring the ground is still soft otherwise I'd never be able to do it. But there's so much clover I suspect there will be bald patches left behind, so hopefully the rain will come down and encourage the grass to return.

what a dreadful day. Spent most of it calming the dogs and trying to keep the house cool, in the end we all just flaked out for a couple of hours and woke up just after six, I am still in that state where you struggle to remember your own name.
