We have booked a flight to tenerife on tue and it does'nt mention on the paper work if the meals are included,does anyone know if meals are compulsary with british airways

Meals are included but not compulsory. If you dont want to eat it you dont have to!

'Meal' might be a misnomer but you'll get something vaguely appropriate to the time of day.

Good point dzug. They seemed to have descended to some dreadful sandwiches. Not like when I worked there.

It might be worth checking if the flight is being operated by BA themselves or a franchise company such as GB Airways. We were on a BA flight to cyprus operated by GB Airways which did not include any complimentary service. If you want to have a meal onboard, I would suggest bringing your own as it can be expensive to buy on the aircraft.

As mentioned earlier, and as you have probably now discovered, your flights are actually operated by GB Airways. According to the British Airways website, meals/snacks are served according to the time of day.

Make the most of the complimentary inflight service though as the GB Airways brand is soon to disappear and easyJet will be taking over the routes and the aircraft, too.
