Tuesday. It looks like it's going to be a dry and sunny day for a change. Only a couple of months late!
Out to lunch today. The George at Frocester. Now a sleepy village, but used to be the main Bath to London road in the days of stage coaches. Outside on the road junction is a very small triangular patch of grass with a tree on it. The pub was also the local court. Highway men were tried in there, then taken out and hanged on the gallows tree. Some of them still haunt the pub, which was a way station, where horses were changed and travellers could spend the night.
Just thought I'd give you that piece of local knowledge.
Tiggy was out and about all the relatively warm night. didn't stop him seeing off his supper though!
He's not following protocol. Well Black Watch protocol. When there is A Queen on the throne, one should wear undershort so that she isn't embarrassed if the wind, as in that photograph, exposes one.
