//May I say that my respect for you and my usual adversaries remains constant//
As does ours, I'm sure ;-)
Get back to us when you can Theland.
All the best mate, whatever the problem is....
"Listen to your wife."

That's good advice, Theland: she's going to be very worried herself, isn't she?
Theland, I am intrigued that you refer to your fellow AB'ers as 'adversaries'.

I continue to wonder why you post at all on AB.

You are continually annoyed and frustrated with the vast number of people who simply don't agree with your views, but you continue to argue with them in the manner of two bald men fighting over a comb.

Perhaps as a pleasant diversion from fighting pointlessly and endlessly with your 'adversaries' you may like to answer my question - why do you continue to post and argue when clearly it is a complete waste of your time, and merely makes you chippy and frustrated?
Maybe this isn't the time or the place andy eh?
Theland aint well, Chance how much we all disagree on here, I think that we can all pretty much agree to have some empathy with others on here in times of need?
It might be worth pointing out that the word 'prophesy' does not mean to foretell the future but merely to speak out.
Theland, Custard pies at ten paces to resume when you're feeling better. I wish you well, as always. x
To do with nothing in particular I love this passage from Joel:

"28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
...

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call."

Quoted in Acts about Pentecost.
//To do with nothing in particular//
As you say V-E, to do with nothing in particular.
At this moment in time, I think that Thelands health might be of more importance than any post on AB.
Get well soon, Theland. x
//for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance//

But from what, I ask … for it was upon that very sacred mount that I was once struck with the pestilence which rendered me hobbling for months hence. Divine retribution? Probably. ;o)
Nay, Nay, and thrice Nay, Naomi. That was but a pebble in thy sandle.
Theland, hope all goes well for you.
Haha! If only Nailit! I reckon it was a thumping great bolt of invisible lightning! By the way, did you know that Oskar Schindler, the man who saved so many Jews from the Nazis, is buried in the Catholic cemetery on Mount Zion? It has been my very great privilege to place, in true Jewish fashion, a stone on his grave.
Wow!, I envy you Naomi. Seen the film a few times now since its release.

Hope Thelands OK.
I know that we all have some vehement disagremants on here but sincerely hope that Theland is alright.

Don’t envy me, Nailit. A trip to Jerusalem is not beyond the bounds of possibility for anyone who’s willing to save their pennies and book a flight. It isn't a million miles away. :o)
