Hello Wardy, Well actually I've never found making money very hard, but then I was very unprincipled about it in my youth and am still regarded as being quite ruthless. I made money twice significantly, the second time in excatly the same way as the first, but the first lot I gave to my wife in our divorce settlement in exchange for custody of our children. I just observed things from an early age. Who had what, how they got it,gaps that could be exploited and I took advantage of them. You need sod all money wise to become rich, you just need to look around, take advantage and apply yourself and not be too fussy how you make your money. I wanted to be an historian, that's my great passion, but no bloody money in that so I was ruthless with myself and went into things that there is money in, starting by buying old cars, doing them up and flogging them. Then I got a car lot, then I bought houses and rented them out. Alongside this I ran escort agencies, ran events (antiques fairs, psychic fairs, tack sales), I also had kids flogging flowers at the side of the road, running market stalls, catering trailers, you name it really, if there was money in in I had it covered somewhere. Not being proud about what you do and not being fussy was the key to it, ut none of it was clever or something no-one else could have done. Eddie Jordan (F1 boss) used to flog carpet remnants on a market I understand, it's that in the same principle, and don't put your egss on one basket.
Today I mainly property develope, have car lots and have some escort agencies, catering trailers and ice cream vans.Nothing posh and nothing clever.
