Please has anyone any idea what, PEDNANLAZ is or means, i am struggling with this one.can,t find it in a English dictionary.

do not get excited! I have not got the answer either. I presume this is Winn Sommer and as it is a question in the Masochists Quiz answer 32 out of 40 questions I do not think anybody will be answering this one. Not in any dictionary or Google. Will have to wait until we get the answers. Good luck with the rest.

Hi Gill1941, Yes you are spot on it is Winn Sommer Quiz, I know we only need 32,answers out of 40, which i have more than enough, but out of curiousity just wondered what Pednanlaz meant,so will leave it save me loads of stress, good luck.

Hello Gill & Flookes,
As another 'Winn' er, could I ask if either of you have managed to complete the 'Royal residences' comp? I've found 4 of them fairly easily, but the others have me stumped, the photos are really poor, and I can't make head nor tail of picture 6!!! Good luck with all your entries anyway!

Hi, Sukiedoo, From one Winn`er to another,i agree that the pictures are very poor,and need some studing, If you look under Tintagel Castle for ( no 6 ). Have you managed to find Pednanlaz. I don`t need it but my curiosity is getting the better of me. Good Luck.

Sorry, it has me stumped as well! I always used to urge Winn to ask for 40/40 answers on that quiz, but this year I'm glad she hasn't! Thanks for the clue on the other quiz, I didn't realise Tintagel was ever a royal household!

Hi, Sukiedoo, Comp 15, Q7, Castle of Mey.Thanks for offering to swop,but i think i have most of the others covered,what i have decided to do.But am puzzled on Comp 23,Q20,and found it could be two possible answers.But will leave it out as i don`t need it.

I think no 5 is Sandringham.

I'll be entering most of them this time - for the last few years I've had the booklet but not quite got round to entering. Just the masochists quiz to go - I'm about to try googling other possible spellings of Pednanlaz in case there's a typo in the word. The trouble is with 9 letters each of which could be one of 26, it might take me years!

I have also tried many possibilities to (PEDNANLAZ) but came up with nothing,i did not know what else to try, so decided to ignore that Question, as i have enough without it. Best of luck with the rest.

I've managed to get enough of the Masochist answers to enter too, but not being able to find it is annoying me.

Can anybody help me with the film numbers competition on page 10? I'm stuck on questions 2 and 7 - I reckon the number for q2 is 13 and for 7 is 8, but I can't get the films.

It,s me again, The film for Q2, is Apollo Thirteen.
Q7, is Buttrefield Eight.
A few of my friends are also having problems with PEDNANLAZ. I don,t think many will answer that one.

Thanks for that - I've never even heard of the answer for q7 but I really ought to have got Apollo thirteen - I've been sitting saying "pollo, thirteen" to myself for days!

I've tried all sorts of words it could be a typo for, but none of them worked. I think it must be somebody's name

I think the answer is Land's End, which is Penn an Wlas in Cornish.

This one has stumped alot of compers on this quiz, me personally have decided to leave it out,we had an option of 32,Questions,out of 40.
I am waiting now for the comp to be judge as to the answer.
