No I wouldn't. The best thing about life is the anticipation of expecting the unexpected. If you know what's going to happen in your future it ruins your enjoyment of the present.

I would. to be forewarned is to be forearmed, plans could be made and wills have to be written. Can't go leaving one's affairs in a mess for other people to clear up. Anyway, If I saw it knowing me I'd probably forget the date.

No, I did not get a letter but it interesting to see peoples opinion on this and opening  it would be a very hard thing to resist doing. those who open it would always have that date in mind and thier life would probably change from that point on. Those who do not open it would probably save it because if they trashed it, the curiosity would drive them crazy and they would go back to get it from the trash.

On a serious note, yes. So I could do all I wanted to and leave a mark on this world before I go. (and by that I don't mean give birth to a son and call him Mark!!!:))
