I've had several of those type of calls, usually they say Ive been selected because I helped them with a survey a few weeks ago, I know then Imediately that it is false as I never help anyone with surveys,
However, when I pick up this type of call ,I just rest the phone down and let it talk to itself, somebody must be paying the bill.

I have a hannes maccaw parrot and I just set the phone beside him and he can be a bit naughty.

I too have a call-barring service, but it only seems to work on British phone no's.

I would bar these types of calls but they're international and I can't bar all international calls....

I just left the ansa machine to record and then just deleted, but I did find it strange that it kept repeating the message.

Im going to get a whistle like they use at football and blow it as hard as i can down the phone ! im sick of getting these sort of calls .. how on earth do people do these sort of cold calling jobs

we got 1 of those sort messages left on our answer machine when i was living with parents. it said we'd won a holiday and gave us a number to call. my numpty of a sister rang it didnt she lol cost my parents �100 for that 1 phonecall and as u guessed, there was no holiday
