No problems at all with this. Definitely one to attract newcomers. Thanks Jago

Hello everyone, I had a sinking feeling when I did the first pass through the clues looking for gifts! I found the clues hard, but fair in retrospect. Hopefully someone will confirm the answer lengths...

Great fun. Not overly complex clues, so grid (sort of) filled quite quickly. PDM for endgame likewise followed apace, and then needed some careful thought to justify all ten modifications, producing...

Another great puzzle from the mathematical master ! Solved all the down clues first, then the acrosses. Then it was great fun cutting and glueing little "dice" to get the answer - thanks...

Best of luck with this one, everybody. I nearly quit with it being a carte blanche (sort of - at least we have word lengths) with indeterminate numbers of letters to be removed from clues, clashing...

(sorry started on wrong site, apparently) - so repeat here : Well, we had all been moaning that the Big L was getting to be the Big EZ ... not this week, mefears but after a mammoth struggle, have now...

For the second week running we have a brilliant new Listener setter (though Shark appears regularly in the IQ, EV and Magpie series) and what impeccable cluing. This was sheer pleasure with pdm...

Hello N&Cers, took a long time for the PDM on this one, but well worth the wait, I thought. A very nice twist to the 12 clues. Thanks for the workout, Nudd.

I've just got the theme and title and am, as usual, thoroughly enjoying this puzzle. The three different types of clue were a challenge to start with but it all works out very nicely. Many thanks for...

I normally don't like this type of EV, where the lights and clues are not numbered, but the cluing was straightforward and grid entry similar. Except that the clue, "Cat, excited, close to...

Quite a challenging puzzle this week, between extra letters, clashes and redundant definitions - and one completely normal clue. An inspired guess at the 11-letter across led me to the quote and lots...

Back to the relatively easy ones then, though I think the final step's a bit of a swine if the subject's not all that familiar. One of those with a reasonably straightforward grid fill (with one...

Where is everybody? Posting somewhere else? What an intricate construction. I have been delighted by the subtlety of this and now have a full and functioning grid but I am wondering how it fulfilled...

In my opinion an excellent puzzle, fun clues and clever misprints, for me, much more enjoyable than yesterdays Listener.

First numerical of 2012 and a fun puzzle. Looked daunting at first but it all fell into place with a fun ending Thanks Xanthippe...

Hi fellow EVers You are probably as disappointed as I am by this EV. It has to be the easiest one I've ever done and I wonder how it came to be accepted for publication. EV is supposed to be a step up...

In my opinion one of the hardest for a while - tough clues and a fun end game - one or two wordplays still escape me though.

Quite a straightforward offering - I am a little unsure why the 5 cells are "aptly displayed"

Zany clues, almost laugh-a-minute stuff and a remarkable (and surprising) dénouement. Brought much needed mental warmth to the icy surroundings here. Terrific stuff, great fun and the best of...

Unless I've gone seriously wrong, this easier than it first appears, though I'm still not sure of 15d. The definition seems to be a bit stretched and it's a bit of an exception to one of the rules....
