Alternatives to sleeping in a bed

Anyone slept in or sleep in a hammock? Was wondering if they are comfortable for a good nights sleep. Anyone know of any other comfy alternatives?

goin on hols on tue to spain, getting all my stuff sorted as its my day off. what things do you normally forget to pack? should i take my own towels/how many?
