Sorry Ed to post here, its naughty I know but I can't think of another way to do it. I love the new skin on the orangedog forum, but I can't get past the first page and that took 3 attempts to load. I tried the memberlist or click on a name link to people's email but can't open them either
If I don't tell you, you will think that you have been deserted....

Have to be up at 4.45. to get a train down South to see my eldest. I got up and was eating Special K at about 3 am. It was chucking it down and is still very overcast but not actually raining.
Off to Tai Chi at 10ish. Lets hope that relaxes me a bit. Then I'm meeting 1 friend today for lunch as my other one who I see on a Tuesday is on holiday not far from where I'm going tomorrow.
Hope you are all ok. Shaney keep your chin up! You and Mr S are still in my thoughts. Mr. Woofy too and all of you who have poblems health and otherwise.
And Robi I do know what it's like not to see your family. Maybe not as much as you cos I do see my eldest son at least once a year but it isn't like seeing them regularly when they don't live far away.
See yer later 'gater(s)

Morning all...well I was awake at 6.16 but I stayed put until 7.16, what a horrible gloomy, damp morning, even the radio presenter commented on how dark it was. You'll be relieved to hear I've no dreams to report :o)
Anyone see Corrie last night? David Platt's been reading our threads, he said 'blue rinse brigade' and biddies in the space of 5 mins. I think we could do better than some of the daft storylines they've had recently.

Didn't go to bed until 1.30am. Have been up, done some daily tasks, including a packed lunch for Mr LL, had some tea and bread and marmalade, looked out of the window, seen the weather yet again and am now back off back to bed for a couple of hours. Have a dental appointment at 2.45pm to fix crumbling tooth/filling and off for a meal in Holt tonight with some friends.
See you all later (if I wake up in time) xxx

Vinny you must have been fibbing, your nose is getting longer :---)
The flower is japanese anemone, a lovely and useful plant, comes on white, pink, double and semi double and thrives on neglect and cramped conditions, also fully hardy.
DH is well in himself (touching wood) we are still waiting to hear about permanent solutions, its looking surgical and maybe chemo/radio. Bit tense here as the waiting is hard.
Had a strange experience last night. Was lying in bed with the thoughts going round when i had a split second of feeling, really knowing that everything was going to be alright. I know it sounds weird but it was absolutely real and i was wide awake and sober....

Yo Vinnycrow, jno seems quite common on vehicles, usually bubble cars :o)
I love the pic, I want a scarecrow... (don't even think about saying it)... but Charlie would spend all day yapping at it. They've got some cute stone/resin meercats in a local shop & I daren't even buy those.
Yes woofy, japanese anemones are lovely, I've got white & pink ones, they flower for weeks & stay upright in all weathers, unlike me. Trust that instinct, I've had it all my life, I seem to know instantly what the outcome of situations will be, even if people try to tell me otherwise or if it takes the long and not very scenic route to arrive.

I love your little Jellyman Robi - So sweet!
Yes I am up, much later than I anticipated and now have to have lunch and rush around before going to the bloomin' dentist.
I have a group of resin meerkats sitting in my garden and one day I tried to get a lovely photo of Alice Cat sitting amongst them - cats and Meerkats. However my plans were not to be.

She has blocked the view of the sweet little meerkat who sits in the tub!
Nice to see you Vinny.
Woofy and Shaney I am thinking of your both and your respective misters. Waiting is the worse thing in my opinion. Let's hope neither of you have a long wait and you can put all this behind you.
See you soon x

Uh-oh, too late Robi http://i38.tinypic.com/2a66ygw.jpg (you can tell by the hat it's Vinny, and you're wearing his Japanese Anemone ha ha ha).
Afternoon biddies and hippies, I'm sitting here mustering up some courage to run a few errands. I've always got foot problems but one foot seems positively inflamed at the moment and inflammations need rest. I, on the other hand, need food. And coffee. I bought some spelt coffee the other day just out of curiosity, didn't expect to like it but I did, especially when mixed with my regular brand http://www.bitterkraf...473c96aeb950aba052122 Wonder if it's anything like chicory coffee that folks used to drink during the war?
Oh Woofy I'm not sure what to say here as your mention of surgery/radio/chemo makes me doubt whether I've previously understood the situation but I agree on absolutely trusting those moments of mysterious knowledge from who-knows-where - such tapping into whatever-it-is absolutely exists.
I love that jellyman Robinia, don't ever change him:) Well I can tell you it gets mighty dark sitting up here with no electricity during the winter ha ha ha, you have a crazy brain. Were those the Northern Lights ha ha ha. This clip has the quality of your dreams methinks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyaU9JKnKiQ

Hi folks
Just back from the hospital .Mr S has to have a full body scan anytime soon .They are so on the ball. They phoned this morning for us to see the consultant today.
The prognosis is quite good .
He'll have to have a stoma but it won't be able to be reversed .The cancer is too far down his colon and they are going to have remove his back passage ..
.But ..Cliff manages and the Queen Mum managed so I'm keeping everything crossed that my man can manage too .
These nurses deserve every bloody penny they get .They are so nice and understanding and the consultant was lovely especially with weepy willies like me .
Hopefully the scan will reveal that it hasn't spread and we'll go from there .
Hope you are all Ok and that all your aches pains and worries are little ones and Woofie ..I'm thinking about you and your hubby too and hoping for a positive outcome ..Love to you all xxxxx
Ps Lovely pics Vinny ..try and do yer zip up properly next time .it#s all hanging out :))
