Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Pleased to hear Charlie is better Robinia . I hope they've sorted him out .Give him a pat and a snuffle from me .
Not a bad day after a dull start , quite bright and breezy and surprisingly warm ! I went up the High St earlier and was sweating cobs in me thick jacket .
Kit ,this all sounds horrendous. It must be so unsettling . Can't you complain to the owners of the building or all get together and demand some sort of alternative accomodation while this is going on ? Or at least make them pay for a hotel or something .It's not your fault the ruddy building is broken .I'd be waving a placard by now :)
Still practising double top on Mr S. This morning we had district nurse ,then stoma nurse. This afternoon I get a call from yet another nurse about the warfarin .No wonder I went to bed last night just after 8 o'clock and didn't wake up again until seven this morning .He's a bit fed up .The extra wobbles haven't helped .
Lovely boots girls .I've seen a really nice handbag on Debenhams website .
I may go into town if we get a nurse free day and buy it :)
Hope you are all OK otherwise .Hope Mr Woofy is alright .
Take care xx

Hi there Shaney. I know I still owe you t hat email and I do promise it will come very shortly. Have just planted my bluebells and aconites as I felt much better, but am now feeling very tired again and am planning on a sleep.
Poor Mr Shaney. He must be fed up.
Was speaking to my friend who had the heart attack this morning and she keeps getting phone calls, etc. about going to various appoinments. All she wants to do is forget about it. Mr LL was lucky because all the various tests he had were done whilst he was actually in the N&N. She was taken in to QE at Kings Lynn and now all her appoinments are at Papworth. She has to be there at 8.00 in the morning!! It's a long drive from us.
Hope you are taking care of yourself.
Talking of handbags, our garden centre has got some lovely ones in - I am so tempted but I have spent too much lately. Also they had some beautiful long cardingans and I have ordered one.
There is nothing that place doesn't sell, and their restaurant is just fabulous. They are just too close to me - I am tempted every time I go past.

Are they wannabe biddies jno? Not sure we can enrol anyone called Gussie :o)
My biddy emails still haven't arrived :o(
hmmm, a garden centre that sells handbags & cardies? Sounds perfect, obviously run by a biddy.
Does anyone wonder what we've done to deserve all this stress? Poor Charlie doesn't know what he's done..he's had a stagger around the garden & is sleeping a lot, which is probably a good thing but not eating much. I had to take a dizzy pill to get myself round the shops earlier...lovely weather, I could stand this all winter.
Right, better zoom over to Debenhams & check out the handbags before shaney buys 'em all...go on, treat yourself! Keep boogering on. :o)

Swedie, you must look on the bright side, at least you don't have to wash and cook for a family, now that would be truly awful in that muddle, at least you can please yourself as to where to go and where to eat. Are the rest of the block one room apartments or bigger ones. Do you not have a Community where you all have to pay for repairs, and have meetings where you can lodge queries and complaints? I feel for you terribly as I cannot stand muddle and mess and disruption.
Robi, garden centre sells (apart from garden type things)
Fashion clothes, handbags, scarves, etc., Lovely gifts of all types, crockery, cutlery, perfume, cards of all sorts, books, furniture, some foods and has the best restaurant/tea rooms around. Amazing home cooked food and just wonderful cakes. It is only 1/2 mile away, and quite honestly, apart from Morrisons I get most of my stuff from there. They have just phoned to say my cardigan has arrived. It is lovely. Very long with just two buttons that do it up at the top, a shawl type colour with a scarf attachment - very tres chic!! The clothes are very different, not the sort you see in the chain stores and also very reasonable priced.
Yes a Biddie runs it with her husband and sons and they have built it up over the past 30 years into a wonderful store. The owners are always working hard in there is well and are always friendly and helpful. People come from miles around!!
Neti, I was wondering too whether Swedie had a residents association. It doesn't seem right somehow what she is having to go through. Awful, just as winter is approaching and the time you need your home to be at it's cosiest. I lived like that when we rebuilt our house (single handed) in fact it was far worse because at times we had no loo, no stairs, no floors and no ceilings and just camped. But we were only in our early 30's then and much tougher. When I think about me digging out floors and barrowing out rubble and helping Mr LL to put up ceilings at 2.00am it makes me shudder!!

I think we need to start a campaign...Save Our Sweedie!
That's lovely Lottie...all that & only half a mile away, lucky you. My gp's surgery's half a mile away & I know where I'd rather go.
Charlie finally ate some dinner, yay. I'll try him with some more later. Think I'll celebrate with some oven chips & a choccy trifle :o)

Go Shaney...I can't stay full up today. Have eaten a whole cheeses and cherry tomato slice from M and S for lunch and am still wanting my dinner.
Great to hear about Chas,
We have spent the day doing sfa after yesterday. I got wet taking the boys out this morning which entitles me to one glass of wine tonight, no more in case I need to drive.
That's a lovely cardigan. I am slightly dubious about buying knitwear though as it still tends to be year round summer with me at times.
Dh and I missed a fancy dress ball this yearbecause he was ill. It was wild west as the theme so I had bought a fabulous cowboy hat :-( ...Anyway next years theme has just been agreed and its pantomime so I have decided to go as a cowboy fairy godmother....Go on ask me the name of the pantomime...........
ok...I'll tell you

Residents Association, that's what I meant except I couldn't think of it, community is the Spanish equivalent.
Glad Charlie is eating, I always feel that things aren't too bad if there's food involved.
I like thar cardy Lottie. In England I bought 2 of those shawl cardi things, I love them, and shaney talking of handbags, things are looking up!

I agree Robi - A Save our Swedie Campaign is definitely needed!! And Kit do what Woofy says and do a bit of rabble rousing.
I am pleased Charlie is eating again. Hope the dizziness goes for you too Robi. I had 2 bouts of it after I had drank Diet Bitter Lemon and put it down to the Aspartame in the drink cos I never had it before or afterwards. (I look it up on the interneet)
Hope Mr S and W are getting on ok and you ladies are coping alright. I'm sure you will be, you sound very kind and caring.
I've had an interesting evening. I went out with the Community on Patrol group. I consider myself so lucky as I never have any trouble round my area except for one night when a young girl knocked on my door asking me to get the police. I didn't open the door but did ring the police. and they came PDQ.
Anyway we had people coming out and telling us about groups of youngsters drinking and smoking pot at all hours of the night.. We had 2 policemen with us. Myyy they were lovely ha ha!! It was worth going just to meet them. I know I'm old enough to be their grandma but who cares!!
One councillor was there and she said as I was going, "Thanks for coming and ring me if you have any problems." It might tourn out to be a case of who you know and not what you know. Like I said though I am lucky to live where I do because there is rarely anything to report.
Going to watch the cookery programme now it's getting near the final. Can't be doing with all the lead up stuff.
See yer later 'gater(s)

Just popped in to say goodnight .
Sounds like an interesting evening Jude .Being escorted round by a couple of handsome boys in blue :)
I watched Poirot which was quite good and now I think I'll go to bed . I have to set my alarm clock lately as have to be up early , dressed and out of the bathroom for when the nurse comes .You never know what time they'll turn up and I'm sure they don't want to be greeted by me in my Jammies and sticky up hair ! .
Roll on Saturday for a lie in .It's like being back at work again :)
Have a good night all ( and Charlie ) ,sweet dreams .See you tomorrow .
