Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?
here
It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

workman trouble? Well, I'd just move if I were you, Kit

Oh the jabs are completed! Well done Shaney, you deserve a new handbag for it http://i51.tinypic.com/birz9v.png And good luck for tomorrow.

I think I need Nigella's bloke, jno. He'd go ballistic if he lived in just one room with just one window. I'm sure I must have mentioned this but I'll just say it again anyway like a true biddy: Couple of years ago the scaffolding just came crashing down! 'Twas a windy day. But still. Idiots. BTW is Nigella still as stiff as if she's walking around with a baguette up h- ...erm, she seems very formal to me. I saw her as a guest (Parkinson?) together with Eddie Izzard and she was completely analyzing him, something he'd neither asked for or invited, in a very formal and humourless tone.

Better do my bills now before bed. G'night sweet possums xxxxx
ah, there is a cultural event worthy of my attention this week

Morning me ole cock sparras...lovely little video Kit. This year I've got the biggest flock of sparrows I think I've ever had, I love them, they'll always be my favourites.. Don't think they'll be bathing this morning tho'...skating more like it, the baths were frozen. It's so cold it hurt & made me feel nauseous.

Sorry it's sad news for you Jude, but to be so active & full of life at that age is a blessing.
And it's good news for your friend Lottie, hope she recovers well.
I'm glad my dream made you smile shaney :o) well done with the pin sticking & I hope the next stages go well for both of you. I will warn you the next time I visit, the way things are atm I may well bring a suitcase. I can practise with some needles & an orange before I come if that's any help?
Maybe Kit can come too - I do feel for you Sweedie, at least I don't have to vacate the premises every week day.

I've enjoyed catching up, I had a pretty grim day yesterday & I couldn't string a typed sentence together. My demanding neighbour was on the phone at 7.15am(!) from her hospital bed, rambling on about something (I think she's going stir crazy in there) so I said I'd ring the hospital later. Decided it was a problem for her relative to sort...well, in a nutshell, she's patronising, controlling, snobby..put me in a right mood.
Charlie had a funny turn which I thought might be a canine 'stroke'...emergency vet number was engaged forever & in the meantime he was recovering & within half an hr was back to normal. So I decided he'd be better resting here than getting frantic being carted off...if it happens again he'll have to be seen. He's full of beans this morning.
And then Tarquin tells me he might be moving (for a job, his new company take over's not doing too well)..it's down Somerset way, oooh arrr...I'll be Deserted of Derby.... & who's gonna fix me puta? Je suis désolé du Derby.

Morning munchkins..!
tis lovely and sunny yere..!ooh he will love it in somerset robi, bet he's been camp all over that countie alreadys..:O)
♫Coates comes up frum somerset where the cyder apples grow♫oh I think rory mcraths great british thingy is in wooly tonight.Well me puttas been playing up sumink rotten lately........whipping it didnt help either...get me self an electric one soon.Jude any Beatles record is good by me medear...there at numbers four and six in the Album chart this week..you cant wack em..catch yer later>>>>whoosh(:O)
You and I will have to move in together Robinia :) Je suis also désolé du Norfolk.
Mr S has a thrombosis in his leg .So I now have an even bigger sharps bucket and another pack of injections .He's on warfarin for three months and this week has to have daily blood tests then I have to hang about for the coag nurse to ring and say what dosages . I won't be doing the blood tests though :)
You get one load of sh!te and then they( whoever they are) dump more on you.

Somerset is not too far Robinia and you can do the Grand Tour calling in at Lofty 's stately home and my mansion on the way before visiting Vinny on his estate :)
Thing is at least he'll have a job .It's even more worry if they are out of work .Pickys mob are threatening redundancies .
Poor Kit ..I hope they soon get that building sorted for you .
It looks quaite braight so I think I'll peg out me towels .
Take care all .Back later.
Good afternoon. Oooh Robbie, you are obviously a lot colder in deep Derbyshire than we are here. It is cold, but no ice yet. Lovely and sunny so Meggie and I are going out for a walk. Sorry you are so down and it's so awful when a loved pet gets into old age. It sounds as if Charlie has had a mini stroke, but I think you are wise just keeping an eye on things as he is OK again down. He doesn't need the stress of a visit to a vet just yet.

Somerset ain't that far Robinia - some nice holidays for you. Certainly a lot nearer than Australia. How are the Australian section of Robi's doing at the moment. I expect they are as hot as you are cold.

I feel for you Swedie. You must be so fed up. I don't know how you cope. Is there noone you can go and lodge with for a while. You need somewhere warm and comfortable for the winter and I don't like to think of you roaming the streets. I see you have been caught on camera ;o)

Love to all of you and be back later.

Shaney, I will get round to the email - I promise!!
Oh hello Shaney!! You weren't there when I started my rambling. Poor Mr Shaney. I bet he is fed up and poor Picky too. Hope his job remains safe. Life is hard isn't it.
Our neighbour is back to his old tricks - more solicitors bills ahead! My washing has been out for an hour - beat you Shaney xxx
Afternoon all, how's this for a very strange dream. I was in bed, my dad was in the same bed at the foot end, we had clothes on, and David Beckham came bounding in naked and cuddled straight up to me spoon fashion but nothing erotic, just warm and cosy and my dad was still asleep at the bottom of the bed, and then someone ( no idea who) burst in, and I woke up. Bet the trick cyclists would have a field day with that one!

Poor mr s, hope he'll be alright. This is one of the reason they won't let one cross ankles or legs in bed, in hospital.

Warm and sunny here, on your journey to somerset (arrrr !) you can pop into ibiza, it's not that far away!!! (ps I'll give you a shoppinhg list)

btw, my spin drier has packed up and can't get them over here.
I do hope that Charlie is ok, he's been a biddy for so long I would miss him.
I am back from a nice walk down the river, round the town and back along a different part of the river. Called in at garden centre en route for yet more bulbs and Meggie decided to pinch a ball off a low shelf in the pet section. She gave it to me, but I put it back on the shelf. Some poor doggy will now have a second hand ball. Meggie has loads of balls and squeekies galore but craves new ones.

Am going out in garden for a while to plant up a couple of containers and then will have an hour or two reading. A nice day actually, I feel happier for being outside. Indoor life doesn't suit me!

Neti, Don't we all seem to have really weird dreams. Mine are just totally absurd. Mind you a cuddle with David Beckham sounds rather appealing (but not with my Dad at the end of the bed) and David would have to keep quiet because that voice is a real turnoff.
Bet I get wayne rooney tonight!! :-(

Oh that's a booger for poor s shaney, there's always a setback, don't let it get you down. Sounds odd I know but sometimes if things go too smoothly the problems pop up when you thought it was all ok and that seems worse. I've always said to my sister that we've never gone from A-B down a straight route, we've always had to do the bumpy diversion...but we get there in the end.

Yes Vinny, T's been all over there caving, camping & no doubt dancing naked with bells on or whatever you hippies do :o) ...and he knows the guy offering him the job which is a good start. He sounds happier, so if it's what he wants then I hope it happens. If I do that grand tour shaney I'll give you plenty of notice. :o)
And no, it's not as far as Oz, they seem to be enjoing it so far Lottie & it's warming up now. I've been out to post 2 birthday cards to them, it'll be time to post their xmas ones soon :o/

"someone ( no idea who) burst in"...? Well squeaky Beckham's not really my cup of tea but he'd do I suppose so it was me neti, tut! I started my tour on Ibiza

Well Charlie's really honoured that he's a biddy... not...he say's he's a rottweiler supa stud, haha. To establish he'd had a stroke they'd need to do a scan which means an anaesthetic and they said they wouldn't want to give him another one after his dental work last yr.
Good Evening Biddy and Hippy friends.
So sorry Mr S has a setback Shaney. I don't know what to say except I hope he gets sorted out with all the pills and potions and blood tests he has to have.. I think about you every day and wish you both well.
Robi I know what it is like having family away from here. I rarely see my son who lives in Devon. (Not that I see the other one who lives in Derbyshire very often). The next time will probably be at Christmas and heaven knows when I will see my niece in New Zealand again. It's her birthday on Nov 4th so I have got her a card to get in the post so it arrives about then. Give 'Biddy' Charlie a hug from me. Hope he's better today.
What lovely birds you have in your garden Lottie. You sound like you live in a beautiful place. I like the outdoors too and today was lovely for walking. I walked into the countryside again. The only thing that upset me was an ambulance went racing up the road and I learned later that there had been an accident with a van runniing into a horse and rider.
All my towel washing was out this a.m. at 7.30 Not bad eh! I put my washer on at 6.30 and did it on economy 7.

You can keep you Beckhams and Rooneys There's only one man for me and you all know who that is Doncha!

Going to watch a bit of telly tonight starting with UC so I hope you all have a good night with lots of pleasant, even if weird, dreams.
See yer later 'gater(s) xx

P>S> Men's underwear Jno It all depends who's wearing it....
real quick pop in, have only scanned the thread, sorry to hear about Mr S...I bet he's delighted that you get to keep on stabbing him, it sounds like he is getting excellent care. Robi, give young Charlie a hug from me (if he likes hugs) The old'uns are very precious.
Good wishes to all the rest of the gang. I have a stomach full of gas, it feel like I have swallowed a football and someone is inflating it....have taken my usual jollop mixture, just got to wait for it to work (sigh)
Woofy, wherever you be, let your wind flow free!!
Question Author
well I got away with the free wind last week (must have been the mushy peas)...haha...you didn't seem to notice
Charlie does it even better.... & he never turns down a cuddle!
Well give him a huge cuddle from me Robinia :)

Just floating past on my weary way to bed having watched quite a bit of teevee tonight .
That thing about England is very good ,then UC then that really far fetched Whitechapel but it was quite entertaining if only for Phil Davis .

I'm too whacked to do scores on the doors Jude .If it wasn't for Paxo yelling "Come on ,come on" I'd have nodded orf .
Thanks for all your kind thoughts about my human dartboard .

Sleep well and hope you all dream about something or someone nice .
Knowing my luck lately I'll be dreaming about Bobby George :)
Is there anyone about? I just popped in to say goodnight. I didn't get my tubs planted. I went outside and it had turned really cold, so I came in made myself a cuppa and then some friends from far afield turned up unexpectedly and stayed for an hour or two. So our evening meal was really late. I am now extremely tired.

My friend from Spain is back in town this week so we are meeting up for lunch tomorrow. My life is either extremely uneventful or rather full - never a happy medium.

Anyway

Nite Nite or Good morning whichever one fits best xxxx
oh dear, more sick hubbies and dogs... and as for neti's dream, sick is hardly the word... just remember, neti, you start spooning and pretty soon you're forking.
