Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Well I can't stop laughing at the street view, hahahaha...that's brilliant Sweedie. I could replace the faceless little man and have Google rename it StikView, I'm good at loitering on street corners - tonight I'll be on a broomstick. I might just swoop in over Stockholm & grab that ring.

Charlie says he's not dressing up but he could be persuaded for a chunk o' cheese. I've never made my mind up about Cesar Milan, I'd heard so much about him but when I saw him on video I just didn't take to him at all. My brother had a way with dogs & wasn't at all assertive or an over confident person...I'd like to know why cats make a bee line for me? :o/
Charlie's back to his old (very old) self thanks neti & was driving me potty last night...he turns into a gremlin between 5 or 6pm - 9pm. Hope your back's better soon. Some itchy is good isn't it? Means it's healing.

Know just what you mean about the last straw being little things woofy, I got so upset over something and nothing a day or so ago.

Hope you, husbands and pets are all as well as can be....

For a good friend who died 10 yrs ago today...no video but the sound's great & you can all play your air guitars...

Air guitar with these bazooms - ha!

I'm a very annoyed (little things again) about the disappearing email address, it's quite frustrating...I've tried setting up another but I had a bit of bovva, so, not wanting to lose my entire internet world, I gave up. Maybe when this Talk Talk/Tiscali swapover business is sorted (s'posed to be finished today) I'll have a new one to annoy you with.

I'll have a treat please Robinia .. ..I've brought a bag :)

Bit of a dreary day here ,drizzling with sea fog .
I think I've managed to put my foot down with the blood tests and Mr S was fumbling around with the dishwasher again so he's feeling a bit better but has gone for a lie down now.
Look after your back Neti and I'm pleased Charlie is getting on OK .Hope Mr W is doing well too.
I'm just going to alter my watch .I'd better do it i suppose .I don't put it back for a while so I can give myself a surprise and see how far ahead of myself I am :)
Once .when they went forward I turned up for work an hour early !
Take care all and have a nice Sunday.

I want that ring Kit ....I want it really, really badly :)
Very good Jude ! I've just forwarded it to my friend in Winchester who has her birthday today .She'll love it :)
Question Author
lol Jude, very good :o)

<pops a lump of chs in shaney's bag... the bit I dropped under the mangle earlier...it's only got a few charlie hairs, she'll never notice :o)>

How many orders for 'the ring' are we up to? Might be able to do a deal for a multi order, it can be our 'biddy badge' :o)

Well I didn't alter my clocks & I was going to work wonders etc with the hour but instead I've been watching all the moths around the cb flame... I think a cauldron of water over some might be the solution, some people have got their suspenders in too tight a twist.
I'm in for the ring Robi It's brilliant!!
I'm nipping in and out while I'm doing my dinner.... that;s why I'm into short posting.
AAAAAARGHHH...! I had written a long post and then a friend called and I pulled the power cord, AAAAAAAAAARRRGHHH! Loved your Halloween card Jude. On Friday I heard a little girl say to her Dad in a very earnest tone just as they passed me on the pavement "But Dad, I too can have some blood, can't I?" and I tell you those seconds before I remembered Halloween was coming up were more blood chilling than any e-card could ever be =:0

The Ring, wasn't that a horror movie ha ha. Here's their web site http://www.jokkmokkstenn.se/default.asp?ID=87 and their email addy
[email protected] It's one size fits most, approximately size 17 but I don't know if you've got the same size system we do. But you can have it adjusted at a jeweller's anyway so it doesn't much matter. IRL the ring seems lighter than on the photo but it is silver, no tin... and it's working very well too, no workmen for two whole days;-)

I have a feeling my post was longer than this... back later, must talk to some Puy lentils in the kitchen.
Question Author
well Kit let's just hope the lentils don't talk back to us later..btw you've dropped some on the floor.. ;o)

♫ Pee Po Belly Bum Puys ♫
just been out and spent £211 on glasses...special coatings for day and night driving as I am lethal and illegal without them If you get to M and S (and eat meat of course) try their Cook! beef meatballs with tomato sauce and two cheeses...very garlicky but totally delish, you just shove the foil tray in the oven and drool till they are done.
Vinny where be you, they're veggie bashing... Possums about the ring again, it LOOKS the same IRL, it just FEELS lighter than on the photo... if that makes sense... but it doesn't does it ha ha.
Just had a delicious lunch, so am resting in bed watching last night's "Strictly" well, there's not much on!

Want to say I hope Lottie is feeling ok and all snuggled up warm and cosy. Also hope the rest of you are Ok.
Hi there. I'.m back after my lunch and a walk. Just listening to a Paolo Nutini CD I bought, Not bad really. I quite like some of his stuff. It was only a fiver so i thought it was worth a listen.
I too hope all poorly people are feeling better today. Even though it's not very bright here it's not too cold.
I'm pleased you like the Card. It tickled me. The Aunt and Uncle who sent it are both in their 80's. It's my Dad's sister. We're quite a long-lived family aren't we- so I hope it rubs off!!
Going to tidy up around the garden for a bit. see yer later 'gater(s)
can't watch the card Jude, it shuts my browser down (mac with safari) :-(
Hi Woofy This may sound a daft question but will it do it if I send it email?
thanks , its worth a try :-)
So... The third reason I went to the Samí market was to listen to yoik. It's taken me a long time to understand yoiking - the Samí language and culture are as foreign to me as they must be to you. I can honestly say it wasn't until I became interested in Native American shamanism that I began to even remotely understand yoiking! Here's the Wikipedia article, I posted it before but it's a long time ago http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoik And here are a few examples, for those of you interested - and the rest of you, feel free to ignore it, I know it's kind of... special.

traditional yoiking at the reindeer farm http://www.youtube.co...pN8T8&feature=related

for an example of "modern yoiking" listen to the beginning of Gula Gula here http://www.realworldr.../catalogue/gula-gula/ (Strictly speaking, yoiking is often a mix of genuine words and mere sounds, but lots of people think of yoiking as just the sound bit so that's why I say she yoiks in the beginning of the song.)

and last but not least, Waterloo in Samí! The singer yoiks (in the "sound manner") a little towards the end, the rest is Samí words and I don't understand a one of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bnJEAVfNeA

I wonder if ^^Sofia Jannok isn't wearing the nineteenth century ring that was the inspiration for my Jokkmokk ring. He (the de
