Watched this film on DVD and I am sure a chicken is badly injured when a soldier falls on it.

What do you think ?

I thought this type of thing was not allowed in film making.

That's a special breed of chicken johnny5.

Although that breed all have only one leg, they can hop at 50mph !!!!!

But do they still taste like normal chickens?

Don't know. We've never managed to catch one.
I feel sad that it suffered but I cant be hyprocrytical enough to be sad it may have died if I eat KFC all the time. Do you get me, and as for joking about it that just my humour, sorry Boo runs and hides away from argument
'' But do they still taste like normal chickens? ''

Doesn't everything 'taste like chicken'?
Well, a lot of things taste fowl !!!
^^^ 'boom boom' ;o))
Better not go there !!!!!!!

Come to think of it, i think it was a man in a suit.
Well said BOO.
Anyone want a bite of my chicken sandwich?
I agree with Boo, LoftyLottie, Wildwood and logic!

Perhaps the rest will come back as chickens in their next life!!!
And still the joking goes on.

And no I don't eat battery chickens either. I eat proper free range chickens which cost and arm and a leg and just don't have chicken very often.

I hate this total disrespect some people have for life.
Im wondering if the people who do seem to think this scene is funny would also find it just as amusing to see a child accidently injured fatally in a film?
So who 'doesn't buy free range chicken for their Sunday roast?

Hmmmm....
Probably BOO because I genuinely believe that people who have no respect and laugh at the misfortunes of animals are just the same when it comes to people.
think your kina missing the point here Nat. I'm sure the majority of us do eat chicken, not always free range either. What I'm getting at, whilst I do eat meat I wouldnt dream of finding amusement of needless suffering of my future Sunday lunch!
Oh BOO, that's hardly a fair comparison.
yeah I think the same too Lottie. Why it upsets me to see people laughing about things like this. I find their attitude totally alien to me and as I've said downright scary, and I wouldn't associate in real life with anyone who does find things like this chuckle making!!
I just dont understand free range chickens and looking after them also nicely just to go kill them in the end. I just eat chicken god knows where KFC chicken comes from. As I said I just joked because thats me it doesnt mean I didnt think ouch, its just I got carried away with all the different names for chickens.
why Jane?

Both are capable of pain are they not? It was just an 'accident' wasn't it?
