It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

IAP don't you dare say anything horrible about Tony Bennett - I love him. I met Joan Collins in the late 70's when her daughter was very ill in a london hospital, and my office of civil engineers were fitting in a full-body scanner. Can't remember the name of daughter or hospital, but daughter was youngish about 12 I think.

oh that's great IAP - keep the tales coming. Glad to hear Joan is a nice person...but Tony Bennett? not good? Oh dear, & I've always preferred his voice to Frank Sinatra.

Fancy there being a whale in the Thames.i do hope the poor thing can get out to sea again.

Gessoo...so sorry to hear about your friend. What a shock for you.I hope she will be O.K. If it is any consolation my sister-in-law had a heart attack last year and she is 70.She had excellent care at the J.P. coronary unit here and is now fit and well again although as my brother says jokingly .".won't be lugging grand pianos around anymore".
We were so happy she made a good recovery as it was their Golden Anniversary just before Christmas and I am sure your friend is in good hands and I wish her a speedy recovery.
P:S Julie Christie..I love Doctor Zhivago..a favourite film of mine..am always weeping buckets as he runs after the tram !

IAP..I must have the lowdown on Liz Taylor.I have been a fan of her for years.

Just seen your pic Vinny. I am speechless..for a change !!
Are you sure about that..I think it's you ..after one of your sprouts and Becks fests !!! Not to mention Lions poo.!

Oh where have you all gone to? It wasn't really me swimming in the Thames, so don't go looking!

Come back!!!
