It might be a good idea, Ed if at the top of the Chatterbank questions there is a note from you explaining the situation in a pink box so that people are not left wondering what on earth has happened.

Morning all - hope all's well with you & your's today.

Sorry boys - following on from last night's conversation........I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks inbetween our girls, although thankfully, I fell for our youngest a couple of months later.

I would have tidied up after us last night Pixi, but I had to keep my strength up to do Robinia's big pile of ironing this morning (I hate it & used an ironing service when I was working - all those shirts & bedding)!

I hope your son soon settles back into home life gesso - it must feel strange for him after such a long time away at Uni.

hehe gessoo...your on the ball today...Ive got a son (19)who's at uni ...he's doing law.A great lad.And ive got a 16 year old girl..um...say no more...!!(why did I think boys were worst than girls)she seems to think im one of those hole in the wall cash machine thingys(:)I can hear her coming out of her bedroom...just gonna hide in the coalshed>>>>>>>>>>>>>zoom>>>>>(:)
Gessoo..I have just seen your answer in Body and Soul about Diprobase cream. Is this the same stuff as aqueuos cream.?
The reason I ask is because my skin is like sandpaper from this thyroid condition. No matter what I put on it doesn't seem to help and I end up smelling of cococnut which most of these body lotions seem to contain.
....just went to eat my Weetabix, but left it soaking too long - it now resembles a big heap of cow dung!
Didnt you know smudge..weetabix is made from lionpoo...hehe..(:)

Vinny - I for one am not wearing red stilettos today - it's tartan slippers, woolly socks & maximum security bloomers.

hi smudge - sorry I thought it was you who loved ironing. mmmm, wonder which crazy biddy that was then??

Question Author

Shaney, No Diprobase is different from Acqueous cream. It's a great deal thicker and takes a lot longer to absorb, but leaves a fine film on the skin. I couldn't be without it. My doctor prescribed it for me years ago when I had a dreadful rash and an eczema problem, and also advised me to wash with it. I now get a huge container of it with a plunger top. Great as a protective barrier - I always use it if I am gardening as well. A life saver!!! You can buy a small tube of it just to try it, but you have to go to the pharmacy counter.

When I was lying on the trolley in A&E for hours at Christmas time, I noticed that the staff were still using it for washing their hands, so obviously it hasn't been superseded since my doc first advised me about it.

Morning to everyone I haven't said morning to!!
Question Author

Shaney - a diet, together with no whisky!!! Oh dear.

Like you, I seem to have all sorts of things going wrong, but as Woofy said the other day us 'creaky gates' tend to go on forever!!!

Robbie - Just to confirm that I HATE ironing!!!! I think it must be Vinny that likes it.

BING BONG

I am now leaving the Biddies for a short time in order that I do essential tasks around the home and also in order to get out of this pink dressing gown and actually shower!!!! I also must do some work, which I didn't finish last night because of a helium filled dog!!

Will be back later this evening and will be keeping an eye on you all again whilst I work.

Love you all xxxxxx

No lanolin in Diprobase, Shaney

By the way, the second link is a ciao link. I signed up to become a member of ciao and they send me market research surveys which pay a little bit of money. Usually about 1.00 for a 15 minute survey. I have been invited to do two this week - yippee a whole 2.80 to spend. Also a good site to use before buying anything at all. Also you can write reviews on products and get bonus payments for it. Not a great earner, but quite enjoyable.

Vinny

this

is real ironing. Personally I refuse to do any unless I'm in a cage being circled by sharks.

gessoo should we petition AB to get payments for contributions to the travelling BiddyBank threads? 50p a pop might be a nice supplement to pensions. Pay for the electricity to run the computer anyway, so Biddies could become revenue-neutral.
