Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.
Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...
Goodness me, that looks lovely n Derbyshire. We have 100mph winds, furniture and satellite dishes flying everywhere. Fed up with sweeping the patio every 5 mins, full of dust and leaves.
Hello all
By 'eck it's cold .Dusting of snow this morning but it's cleared now and quite bright out there .
Hope you're all ok.That sounds horrendously windy Neti, hang on to your hat !
Very picturesque in Derbys but I don't think our Robinia will be out building a snowman...lol.
Woofy I still have a cough little or much. The cough hangs about for ages after the main event apparently. The central heating doesn't help either, makes my throat dry and I cough even more .
Mr S enjoyed his day ,thanks for your good wishes .I'll give it six months and he'll be telling everyone "I'm pushing 70 now " hahaa.
Oooh I'm like that shaney, instead of saying I'm 70 I now say 71 as I will be later in the year, my mexico says he's never known a woman add to her age!
Baby biddy here :) If only I looked babyfaced. l usually say my next birthday age too.
Snow went, it's looking cloudy but they said the worst is over. Hmmm.
Ha, I'm not surprised jno, we do like any excuse to show off our Derbyshire scenery. I thing snowy roaches are the ones who turn out in all weathers to infest sculleries.
I've put on an extra layer and turned the radiators down a bit, I hate the dry air.
Hope you get rid of that cough woofy. I used to like coltsfoot rock.
Hi all. Here at last. Another busy week. I've make progress up with your posts and hope you're all well. Robi one you're feeling a bit more able to get about now. What a shock for you and what and awful woman not coming to help you. I hope she never finds herself I the same position.
All the snow that was on my car has now gone and I've been out for lunch with my R&R friend then would you believe I'm off out at six for an evening meal with the friends who lived I the same road. Hopefully the one who is coming from Lincoln will manage to drive here ok.
Neti I try not to say how old I am unless someone asks me outright I never say.
In fact I refuse to believe how old I am :-)
Apparently everyone's going to the Azores this year... seems Ryanair's started flying there in hopes of driving the local airline out of business, whoop de doo.
I must apologise for my typos, can only put it down to the wind (weather not me!) and assume it is blowing my typing out of order before you receive it!!
Was really scary at some points, and have totally given up on sweeping the patio again and again, but my plastic plants in pots have now been tied to the patio tables, job done.
Washing all dried beautifully without the need of the drier.
Mini cooper's mum had to take him to a special unit yesterday for a check-up (as they closed the Eastbourne one!) and she was driving in a snow storm and got completely lost, her phone died (she's now learned to carry a spare charger) she says she was so worried as she had mini cooper in the car, but eventually found her way back to Herstmonceux which wasn't where she was going! All's well that ends well.
scarey Neti. I have got a charger lead in my car so if the engine runs, I can use my car. I have been to the local panto (oh yes I have) It was completely brilliant and huge fun but the hall was so cold I was actually shivering. Anyway home now with a large whiskey so alls well that ends well
Morning all...dreadful weather, so dark, wet, sleety.
That was scarey for Mrs Mini Cooper, pleased she had a safe ending.
Oh dear woofy, hope it's short lived. I'm fed up too and I'd join you in the bawling bay but I've discovered it hurts like hell to cry...so no release there. It's not always the scale of the illness/injury/stress it's more the constant drip, drip, drip of *** happening that drives me to the edge...and I've had about two years of it on and off. Pah!
Well to start with it was wet and dark, then it brightened up, it is amazingly warm, well 20º yesterday and 14º now. Wil have to t the old bikini out soon!!! Haven't had a winter really, hopefully this week??
Oh dear woofy, hope you and Robi are feeling better.
Not much to report, Mr N is working as he thought it was too rainy for golf and now look at it!!!
