Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Hello all
Not bad here ,at least it's bright but still cold .No snow though and the bit we had soon went .
I'm glad mini cooper and mum arrived safely .Bad enough on her own in the bad weather but when you have a littlie on board it must be scary.
I hope you soon feel better Woofy ,there's been an outbreak of norovirus at the holiday camp not far from us in Hopton .I hope they contain it ,that's the last thing I want .
I'm alright atm though apart from the usual screaming back,hips ,knees and any other joints from the neck down ..lol.

Yes there could have been a serious shock with it but I saw him on the local news and he's a smart chap. I think it would be a shock if it had been a couple of decimal points out but because it's such a ludicrous amount it's unbelievable.
How rich would you have to be for that to be correct I wonder? There are some nice houses in Shardlow but not that spectacular :)

there were a few flurries of something that might have been snow this morning but it melted before it hit the ground. Even so I've got three paris of socks on. And OH got us sitting down to watch Frozen, so I felt right at home.

Made a lovely fish on tom, pepper, garlic and onion sauce with layered pots, really nice considering we are not fish lovers. Followed by Eton Mess with the delicious strawbs.

Haven't lit the fire yet but just getting chilly now, It's 20hrs here.

Oh that's sad .Good actress.I used to like her in Miss Marple .

I think I've just messed up the DVD recorder and Mr S had gone to bed ..tut.
I watched a film from a box set and then when I put another one in there were no subtitles (Italian film).So I fiddled with the remote and I got little boxes and arrows all over the tv screen and I couldn't get rid of them. Gawd ,I detest that machine.I can't get to grips with it .So complicated .
May as well go to bed myself and read ,there's nowt else on tv....Night all.
