Steak & Kidney Pie

I really really fancy a steak & kidney pie. What's the next best thing to home made? Plenty of excuses for not doing my own at the moment! (individual please, not family size....so sad).

Well Neti nothing can change the fact that my skeleton seems hell-bent on working its way out through the sole of my foot but yes they are as comfortable as any shoes can possibly be, for me. They're wonderful. I'm actually contemplating buying an extra pair exactly the same cos I love'em that much! I've always liked gladiator sandals and probably always will so it might actually be very sensible to do so, now that they are à la mode, and so, available. Please encourage me:)))

Yes Kit, they're very nice & look comfy, I do like bouncy bottoms :o).. if you love them buy the other pair (different colour?)! A year or so back I bought some Clarks flat ballerina's in burgundy & at the time there was another bronze pair...yes I wished I'd bought them at the time as when they were gone they were gone. What's more a friend down the road had bought the bronze pair...and wished she'd bought the others, haha. There, is that enough encouragement? The comfiest footwear I've ever owned are my Lacoste trainers, (not clumpy ones) I'd happily live in them, even at my age.

You might want to switch it on well in advance to let it warm up a bit...sorry it's only black & white, I'll stick some toffee wrappers on it to liven it up a bit if you like...oh & the sound knob dropped off so it's very quiet.

Well I've just got into bed after an evening of telephone calls. Hope youi are all settling into our new surroundings. I will be watching footie so Robi I will expect one of those dishy waiters to bring me my meals on time and between matches, taking special notice of my dietry requirements and anything else I can think of.

Like the sandals Kit but I haven't tried anything like them on. I'm one for flip flops. But like Robi says if you like them then get another pair in a different colour.

I'm expecting a bit more sunshine tomorrow than today. Today I was supposed to go for lunch but my friend text me and said she couldn't make it so I ended up with sausage and veg. I'm into Banana smoothies at the mo with vanilla ice cream in. I think I'm allowed that on my diet.

Well I wish I had never popped in. I now really fancy a steak and kidney pie. I haven't had a pie for yonks. And loving those sandals of Swedies I popped over to ebay and have just bought these at £10.00 cheaper than in the shops.

Morning all, love those sandals too Lottie, we are a modern lot aren't we. I've been walking in my white moccasins but they have quite a thin sole although looked alright and are bouncy but the balls of my feet are so sore today. I can't think of any other reason, cos I am barefoot all the time at home. Slightly overcast here yesterday with a fresh breeze, quite nice really. The mainland is having a deluge of rain, and we are expecting it.

Hi Neti the sun's on it's way out. Cutting the grass today if it stays like it.
Blackie is having a running battle with the starlings now so I don't see him as much and I think his babies have flown the next for good.

My new table is still propped up against the wall in the cardboard. Heaven knows when it will be put together. My sister says have a go myself but I'm a bit useless at stuff like that and I haven't got a personal table put togetherer. :o)

Morning...is anyone else having a problem with this site? It keeps freezing & then I lose my tinter connection. I can't look around the site to see if it's affecting anyone else, it's too tedious so a mail would be much appreciated as I'm now giving up. I can look around the interweb with no probs

Daughter is now dong the airport bus, which means I have to drop her off at a hotel and pick her up in another village, then she has 7hrs off and back to airport at 10 pm, which means me getting up at 5.30am to collect her from yet another hotel. Am I working for Tui - No. am I paid petrol money? - No. she'll have to get this sorted!!!!
