I really really fancy a steak & kidney pie. What's the next best thing to home made? Plenty of excuses for not doing my own at the moment! (individual please, not family size....so sad).

Have you all been gadding about while history was being made? THAT'S what I call a match! No, not the footy, don't be silly, the tennis....and it's not over yet. Where did they get the strength to do that? If either one was my son I'd have been hitting them with my handbag & telling them to get off home to bed hours before it was stopped. :o)

Yes Kit, I do apologise for our cruel streak but old ladies look ridiclous in big frocks...much better in a nice two-piece & a sparkly brooch as in your clip. :o)

Yes jno I saw that yesterday. Now that lady did look beautiful at the Royal wedding, very elegant & understated.
Would you believe today's main topic on the mid-morning show on local radio is going to be sheds! haha...oh yes only in-depth debates for Durby you know...other topics of note include wheelie bins, dog poo & dust. Eat ya heart out radio 4.

Thanks shaney, I'm not sure if I have taken it 2x today, cos I get up to let the cat out about 6am and may have taken it but took another cos I couldn't remember. I suppose I should count them.
jno we are doing the tax man a favour as we do not claim for dentistry or private things. So no receipt, no tax rebate.
So glad Mr Woofy is doing well.
I sunbathed yesterday in a 44DD/E bikini, cos I hate tight swimsuits, and now all my stomach is like a big round red ball and painfull. I think the bikini is slightly too large but it was only a ₤1 in BHS last summer. I took the huge underwires out and it fits quite well.

Another lovely day .
I haven't been watching the tennis though that was a long old match and still going on today .I've got bored with it .
No characters in it these days and it's always a foregone conclusion that one of the Williams sisters will win the ladies and Federer will win the mens .They're like a lot of robots .Just big baseline players .No wonder that match is going on and on .At his height that chap has the capability to out ace anyone for about a week :)

Hi everybody. I can hardly see through my red runny eyes. Have just been to the pharmacist and am now taking piriton. Eye drops are in and I am going to go up to bed and have a sleep. It's unbearable today.

Afternoon and a very fine one it is too. The machine is busy washing a throw but as soon as it's done I'm off, out, into the sunshine. You know, I had a nightmare the other night, that there was ice on the streets again... it's really done a job on me, this past winter has.

When I came home I thought I'd left the radio on but it turned out there was a mini Woodstock going on in my park (and my window was open). This isn't the first time, I think maybe there's a record company or something similar in the house opposite to mine (across the park) and they're throwing outdoor release parties. Stopped for half an hour but now they're at it again, a few stragglers, and I'm loving it. I often long for a bigger place to live but I'd miss this place, that's the trouble!
