does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

just been to Sainsburys, walked in, walked out, hardly anyone there. The've separated out all their self-checkout tills with partitions (and the ones backing on to them have been closed) but all very straightforward and shelves mostly well stocked.
oh burger ... just got back from an early morning Waitrose mission only to find a bottle of wine fell over and broke in the boot. Now the entire car has the bookay of cheap chenin blanc. I can see the neighbours going by with their noses in the air already. If only I'd bought a more robust pinot noir...

that's why I get deliveries - the breakages happen in someone else's car.
Good morning, it's very warm already and there's a whiff of vino collapso in the air. It makes a change from budget bangers and burgers but the day's young.
Better get the grounds ready and cucumber sandwiches prepared for a garden party a deux later.
Have a lovely day....it's being nutty that keeps me sane :)

no garden parties here, the fluff is just overwhelming this year. I don't know if it's because of a mild winter or something or if it just means the poplars are getting bigger, but we mowed the lawn yesterday and already it's white again. It's piling up into fluffdrifts in corners.
Mr N and I went out for our first cafe con leche today. Very pleasant. Now we have to, by law wear masks in te6h streets and public places. Was a bit of a job trying to sip hot coffee with a mask on but we managed!

nice!
Looks lovely Neti,so nice and clean too.
It's been a glorious day here spent lounging around in the garden reading and resting my eyelids.I love this weather.
Hope you've all had nice day. Night all.
Morning all...that's lovely neti.
Yes, glorious day yesterday and we were out side all afternoon eating M&S goodies and being bombarded by a selection of insects. I'm so snuffly and, to put it crudely, I've got eyes like pink pee holes in snow this morning. An antihistamine is required.
A few spots of rain but hopefully it'll pass over, it's hedge cutting day, which means more goodies from the cake shop. (They've recently reopened) A caramel donut and a cuppa has been requested. I 'spect he'll want paying as well though.

Good morning. Too hot here already.
this is very disappointing, the BBC doesn't think we'll get any thunderstorms today after all. I was counting on the rain to wash away all the fluff out of the trees, and the lightning to kill several hundred pigeons and squirrels.
Hello all. Jolly hot now stopped in pool up to my knees but its freezing. Now getting bitten by these tiny flies. They even bite through my leggings. Hate it.

Got out the old sunshade and a rat has enjoyed it. It was old but we thought it would last another year! He thought we had a rat in the storeroom and put down poison. He also found the most. They are field rats and not nasty sewer rats.
*he also found the rat's body*
yes, a diet of sun umbrella will kill you in the end.
Morning...oooh, it's blustery and (too) fresh out there. We've had a drop of rain, nowhere near enough to be of any use.
Lovely, busy day yesterday, not sure where to start today.

Ear worm time...♪ ♫ There's a rat in me kitchen....♪ ♫

we had a bout a teaspoon of rain last night, nowhere nearly enough. I have got a sweet dough rising to make cinnamon buns.
Hello biddies. hot hot hot. Town hall opening again in Monday so have been arranging apps to renew our padron no idea what you call it. It proves we are living where we are! It's all to do with the long forgotten Brexit! Had a walk with hija and I was beggared walking home uphill. Or N had to take his van to Ibiza town to Ford to get it serviced as he has MOT next week. It's all opening up. I am still being cautious!
Hello all
We haven't even had a teaspoon of rain here.It keeps threatening but nothing. It's a bit clammy today too.
You'll have to get your scissors out Neti and cut round the edges to match the chewed bit.You could set a new trend.
Picky has to go back to staggered work on Tuesday. We've just had a delivery from the German deli at long last so Mr S is a happy man.
Hope you're all ok.
