maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

I had a hospital appointment for Thursday but they've written to tell me it will now be Friday. Then another letter to say it will be done over the phone. And now another one to tell me I still need to go there for a blood test. So that will be me out in the rain tomorrow morning.

Hello biddybuddies. Went to village and had a coffee. Did our annual tax return by the time they've finished we owe €5
The phone call yesterday didnt happen until I send an email a d then we got a call India arranging another day, I wondered at the time if I should get them to fix my sky box!
Saw my.little chinese hairdresser sitting on his lonesome and dothered. So many people like my longer hair and I can flick it with arrogance but have decided to get it cut. The weather is delightful, warm and breezy. I could be eternally happy if the summer was like this all the time!
Still waiting to hear from my Trauma specialist which was cancelled early March which makes it 16 months since my MRI. Cant face another one!
Hija maybe allowed back to barca from 21 june but we are a phase ahead of them so that would be daft and going backwards.

oh well, that's great. I've been taking quinine tablets for severe leg cramps that I suddenly started getting last year. I went for my blood test this morning and the hospital's just called to tell my platelets have plummeted, I'm in a life-threatening situation and I'm not to do anything risky and if I get a nosebleed to call an ambulance. We went through my meds and he said ah yes, quinine. Stop taking them at once and that will probably solve the problem.

So I'm waiting for a call from my GP about an alternative to quinine for the cramps but I fear there may not be one.

On the other hand the quinine made me near-deaf; it would be nice to get my hearing back.

Still no rain here either, and the garden could really do with a soaking. It's been clouded over all day, not a drop of sun.

Yea gods jno that is scary! Do what the rest of us do and have a net bag of old corks in bed with you! Doesnt affect hearing unless you lay on it!

neti, half an hour later I got a call from another haemo bod to tell me the same thing. I've obviously got them so rattled they aren't talking to each other.

jno can you have calcium magnesium and zinc? I find calmagzinc either tablets or liquid sorts my cramp and restless legs when it/they play up.
The liquid costs more but is easier to swallow, the tablets are like horse pills but affordable.

I've taken magnesium+potassium pills for a while as those seemt o be thing implicated in cramp but they never had muc effect.

Is that available in shops, woofgang, or easier online?

Also, I have uncorked a bottle of red wine as the cork idea seems widely popular and I am ready to clutch at straws. I don't know why the cramps went from 2 or 3 times a year to 2 or 3 times a week all of a sudden. Unfortunately, neither does anyone else.
