I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Morning all, am still taking it easy. Hopefully my box will be delivered today, had a dream that all the good things had be removed, I was gutted. Will get up for a couple of hours today and potter to see if I can. Coughed so much that I am coughing up blood but that is OK apparently as I've done it before.

Yes I watched Rod Stewart, was lovely, I love that lady violinist, she is so talented and so pretty. Very pleasant, but I wanted to be around a fire with friends ang getting in the mood, but Mr N was in hija's bed and I was in my big lonely one! But I slept well.

Hope woofy is getting better, that'll teach her to go carousing! ( Iwant to go carousing )

Right must get some brekkie, laters
Morning each...bloomin' cold, 0C, but bright 'n sunny. There's no snow on the menu so let's hope they're right. I've had 3 M&S fleeces delivered this morning (not all mine). They're in ascending sizes, I might put them all on before the week's out.

Yes, I watched Rodders last night, very nice but I'd have preferred less xmas and more Downtown Train and Mandolin Wind....oh, it was a xmas show wasn't it? :)

S'pose I'd better make some festive effort, I get fed up of looking at the same little tree etc every year but I don't want to go spending on a load of new decorations.

Pleased you're moving in the right direction neti, look after yourself...same goes for the rest of you.

C'mon Robi, get moving...this won't knit the ba......
oops :)
no carousing for me, went to a nice mulled wine evening on Saturday, drank lots of it, forgetting I was on antibiotics, and had to spend yesterday tethered to the ground with a stout rope in case I floated off and disrupted air traffic.

Off to see my tax accountant today as I have never been able to make sense of my multiple (but tiny) sources of income.
^^ that, jno is carousing! Drugs and alcohol, yay way to go!!

Is there such a thing as migraine without a headache ?
I kept getting this flashing jagged light in my right eye yesterday .

Yes shaney, there is such a thing as migraine without a headache...I never had pain with the flashing lights and vice versa. Take it easy with the shopping.

Haven't you got any stemetil for the sickness/nausea woofy?
Sometime in the past 24 hrs I've acquired an Interior Artiste badge...???!!! Either it's for throwing some new lights on my squatty xmas tree just now (I was going to use them round a doorway, but tried it and they give the tree a whole new look)...or someone's seen me through the window, pole dancing round me mop.
rofl
I couldn't figure out how I'd ever given any answers on gardening, but there was probably a biddy thread in there at one time. Ditto advertising, which is not a place I'd normally go as I don't watch much telly.
My parcel has arrived, thank heavens. Have had to do a rapid wrapping of Mr N's presents cos there is nowhere for then to hide as he is in hija's room. I had to run to the main road as they couldn't find me! Everything seems to be in order can't wait to start on the sweeties. Am full of catarrh, no idea how to get rid of it. Cheese still hacking away.

jno, I have a badge for gardening, I mean that is ridiculous absolutely!
shaney that is interesting about the flashing lights, I often get that, thought I had a brain tumour so ignored it.
cheese???? oh pulese, chest!!

I was finding it really hard to write yesterday .Strange .Never had anything like that before and don't suffer with bad headaches as a rule .
My cards probably say Erry Mistmas and Wappy New Ear .

Good shopping trip .Lovely Morrisons .Better than our untidy shop .
Had a cup of tea in the cafe and a bit of a chat with my brother who's a bit worried about his forgetfulness .Told him to go to doctor .

Try inhaling over a bowl of hot water Neti .Have you got any menthol ? Camomile is good too .Tea bags or loose. Just swish it in the water and breathe it in .
Get well soon Woofy .Take it easy .Flat cola and salty pretzels for you :)

I'll be back to moniter your situations later :)
picking up gradually. I haven't had so much as a sniffle or stomach ache in 4 years so I guess my immune system is taking a holiday. I will be glad when the holiday is over.

It turned out to be a nice day here. Lovely Sunshine.

Mr N wants to buy me a super duper new laptop for xmas, so I guess it'll be Windows 7, which I find very difficult. Tell me, can I do everything on windows 7 that I can on xp?
yes, I think so. I'm pretty sure I'm on Windows 7 (can't remember how you check these things); a few things were in different places than on XP but nothing that had me tearing my hair out.
ooh, I'm on Windows 7 Professional, how sophisticated is that.

I never do know what stuff Stan and his fellow Bulgarians are installing on my computer. But I've had no trouble with it since the XP computer got destroyed by a power surge.
