I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

OK thanks woofy, sqad says it's OK, so off I jolly well go!!!
Poor Woofy.

We are going out to lunch and I intend to have a glass of wine. Am also taking 500mg penicilin. Tooth and nose are slowly improving. See you soon! xxx
I see you've had an answer removed from your question to Sqad, neti... probably the one that told you the combination was lethal...
well you did it jno and you survived, I shall use you as my role model!!
Well that didn't take long. We ate in Playa den Bossa, we shared endives with rocquefort cheese and walnuts, and then I had tallarines with smoked salmon and prawns in a cream dressing, it was delightful, really tasty, and one glass of wine! Went to the fayre, there was nothing there, just a load of rubbish, so we donated some money and came home, ah bliss!! Am back in bed with a cuppa, a lemon jelly and some hazelnut sponge cake, I was worn out!

Hope you are all enjoying a peaceful Sunday!
Remember a while ago we were discussing thinning eyebrows and what to use? Well over these last few months I have wasted a fortune on getting them dyed, and various forms of coloring. I have found the perfect kit now. In a shop call saVers, they do a kit called w7 Brow Bar with 4 different colours, a brush and a comb, costs £2.99, it is brilliant, I am so happy with it. Defines the brows without them looking painted or drawn on, and fills in the gaps.
ooof. Really strange, after last night I woke up this morning feeling great! I had to be up at 8 because I was getting a tumble dryer delivered cos the old one died. The delivery firm give you a date then you phone on the morning and they give you a timeslot. Mine turned out to be 2 to 4 pm so there I am up early feeling fine with bored dogs so I decided to nip into town, have a festive browse and but the dogs hamburgers. Ir was lovely and empty, we were back home by 1 and we now have sufficient chocolate. Anyway tumbledryer turns up at just after 2, and around 2.30, the gas repair folk who are coming on tuesday ring to say they's had a cancellation and can they come now? mouth says yes while brain is screaming noooooo house is a tip. anyway nice man has fixed my switching valve and changed my failed thermostatic rad valve and I have my tuesday back!! Result!!

Hi folks
Hope you're all Ok and that any poorly biddys feel better .
It's been a lovely day here ,mild really for the time of year .Been to Highways garden centre today.Bought a couple of things and had a cuppa and a snack .
I just like going there to look at the beautiful Christmas decorations.
Otherwise nothing exciting here .
tired but still well yay!
oight oight all.
woofy has an extra day in the week, neti has an eyebrow thingy, and shaney has had a cuppa. And Jude is probably out jiving somewhere. It's all looking good for Christmas then. I have had a nice Marco Pierre meal, and all for half price, even the drink though that wasn't meant to be part of the deal (only thing that wasn't half price was the tip, of course). So I am feeling well fed, not unlike a Christmas turkey. shakes giblets

I've just watched The Making of a Lady . Based on a Francis Hodgson Burnett story .It was quite good .Creepy in parts but a happy ending .
Glad you enjoyed your meal Jno . Watch where you shake those giblets ,we don't want to be splattered with gravy :-)
Oight Oight ..sleep toight .

Lol...I'm back to 15 badges .It gets gets more silly by the minute .
My cardi is full of holes now where I keep pinning and unpinning them :)
My badges remain at 2 :o(

Had a nice meal out in local pub but my face and nose is really hurting, my tooth is loose and I have a temperature. So much for antibiotics.

I am off to bed feeling Grumpy (but not Happy, Sleepy, or any other dwarfs!)

xx
oh yes, I'm back up to 15, including the imaginary 10-year badge. I can sleep better tonight.
I now have 18 badges which i think might just be right. We went out this morning finally. It was a bit of an effort but the dogs were delighted. back to bed now I think, laters all.
Afternoon all. I am still so tired. Just managed to put up and decoratre the lounge tree, when normally I put up 3 trees and all the other decs, just can't do it. had woofy's trouble at 6am, dreadful stomach ache but sorted that at 8am. Am so bunged up (nosewise) snuffling everywhere. Just made a shepherd's pie.

Yes I saw The making of a lady and thoroughly enjoyed it, I didn't know who to trust at first either. That awful Indian Amira!!!
I am back to 14 badges including my treasured "gardening" one!!
13 Badges.

I am on my second lot of antibiotics (different sort) and feeling a bit sorry for myself. Might need a root fill if these not successful.

Dentist has advised I eat plenty of live yoghurt to replace the good bacteria because all these antibiotics would have killed them off. Neti, perhaps you should do the same. It might help with a speedier recovery.

See you tomorrow.

xx
I'm also on my 2nd lot of antibiotics and I think it's them making me feel like this, but shall persevere for the next 2 days.

All bathed and tucked up in bed waiting for Corrie and EE, and the The Poison Tree!
