I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Good Morning Biddyfriends everywhere. I hope your tums are recovering now. If I have a prob I take Gaviscon as well. My GP gave me some once and I now buy it whenever.
Hope all's well for you at the Drs. Shaney. I haven't been to see my GP for ages because of the appointments at the hospital. I have 2 tomorrow at different hospitals. Wrist in the a.m. and then Mamogramme in the p.m.. Then Thursday morning My Cataract op. Fuschia is going to fetch me home.
Hope you get on alright at the Dentist Jno.
Your knitting sounds as though it's coming on fine Lottie. Looking fwrd to a piccie when It's done. Hope you have a better night tonight.
I'm of to school in a bit and I think I may just be driving there as it's pouring with rain at the mo.
Laters 'gaters!!

Blimey Jude ...you're getting like my brother. He says he goes to the hospital so often it's a wonder they haven't erected a statue of him outside the doors :)
I do hope all goes well for your various appts especially the cataract op.Good job your sister is there to take you home afterwards .I know it's not the same but we can't have you staggering around the streets like I did after those wretched eyedrops :)
Thanks Shaney. Apparently the op doesn't take long but there is a dressing on for a few hours or so. And it's my better eye they're doing first. I shall whittle after the Mgramme until I get the all clear, hopefully, but I know it's for the best.
The last time I staggered round the street was about 20 years ago when I went out with a friend and all the girls in her family for a ccelebration and I had just a little to much!! I do remember it so I couldn't have been too bad!!
I was first prescribed gaviscon way back in the 80s, and I remember how good it was....maybe it was only available on prescription then. I only take it very occasionally now, most of my tum problems are below the waist.

Good luck Jude, I'd be exasperated with all that at once. Funnily enough, even with family history of breast cancer I don't worry too much about it...it's the thought of having anything wrong between the waist and thighs that scares me most....Don't touch me!! :)

lol shaney, I'd had good practise at staggering around before my blurry eyes experience, apart from watching tele I rarely wear my glasses and I'm terrible for fumbling around the house in the dark. It's bloomin dark today, no idea what kind of job I've made of the cleaning ....

For the quiz lovers on here there's a new one on Ch4 at 3.30, '1001 Things you should know'....haha, should, but in my case, probably won't.
haha, that'd be my house, Robinia, if I had a staircase... maybe I do, uner all the dust how would I know?

Dentist didn't do anything after all, just confirmed that the bone grafting was all looking good and he'd launch the big attack on it in a couple of weeks. So no new teeth before Christmas, so don't anyone go slipping thruppeny bits into my Xmas pud.
It poureth down here. I got my first graze box today and had it for lunch....very yummy. The dogs enjoyed some of the biscuity bits too. We had olives, pistachios, mixed garlicky herby crackers and slices of dried apple with a toffee dipping sauce AND its healthy!
Yes, it's been one dreary day here too...olives, yuk, devil's food.

ne'er mind jno...I suppose we'll be finding brazils with the chocolate nibbled off all over the grotto floor then.

Oh goody...I've had a leaflet for a mobile beautician...I can be waxed, tanned, pummelled and plucked, all in the comfort(?!) of my own home. On her website she suggests you exfoliate before tanning...with a mit or a loafer.
:)
It was choccy raisins, not brazils and I ate the lot!
Hello from a dark and rainy Eastbourne, have been out all dya having hair coloured (shouldn't have bothered, looks just as if I've been at it!) having so much trouble with my mobile phone it is constansly on roaming, Orange have had it 3x said its ok now, it isn;t!
