This is their third year and I have lots of fruit already but they don't seem to be putting out any runners this year for me to pot on .They are not in the ground but in a strawberry pot and various other containers .Are they past their sell by date and shall I chuck them once finished fruiting and get new for next year ? I have had a few ripe fruits already and they taste OK !

Hey there ho there hi there, have you all blown away

A wildebeest in the garden yes I could say something like "there's a unicorn in the park" just to see if they take me away. Your remark reminded me of the old James Thurber fable, Robinia there's a unicorn in the garden I thought it was so funny when I was a kid. Feels more tragical now.

Ha ha ha Shaney it was Robinia who said it (suggested your bin might have blown over) but by all means thwack Vinny anyway, can't harm he he he he. Btw wolf valley man, do wolves come for the sheep in your valley? Are there any wild wolves left in the UK? We only had one (sic!) wolf in 1980 - in all the country! There are probably a couple of hundred now. / Shaney this is just in case you don't find anything in your handbag

No tai chi tonight or the next week :-(

Haha ..the only wolf round here lives in Wooly :)
Mind you I am a Wolfie ....according to some catty crow in Q&P .
No wild wolves here at the moment Kit but they do have them in captivity at several places in the UK.There was a programme on recently with Martin Clunes. A Man and His Dogs .
In Devon he went to see the wolf behaviourist Shaun Ellis.
It was great .They were so tame .

There's ongoing debate about introducing them into the wild in Scotland

I've never had a unicorn in the garden but (according to my granddaughter) I did once have a turkey on the roof....

oh now look shaney you set Vinny off with your tattoo & he's gawn & got himself one...

well I'm not telling him, are you.....?

(or p'raps it's a sponsorship thing for his bufferin' business...?)

Oh Gawd ..we'll have to duck in the morning ...or he'll be pelting us with empty beer cans .Poor old buffer :))) I wonder if he's put his sprouts on yet ?
Jno...! Didn't you have an "accident" the other day, he he he.

"Persil" ha ha ha ha ha...! Speaking of permanent letters on the skin... they were talking about scars on the radio today and listeners were invited to tell their stories and one guy told how when he and his girlfriend were having sex for the first time - more specifically the kind that president Clinton said wasn't sex - her braces did some damage and left a scarred area in the form of her initials...!Talk about branding. (That listener did not get asked to send a mobile piccy for the radio channel's web site, like the others did.)

Oh how I hope that documentary gets aired here. I like Martin Clunes. Found a lot of Shaun Ellis on YouTube just now, thanks Shaney. In one clip he growls at... er... at another wolf straight to that wolf's face to show who's the boss - I think he may get himself into trouble sooner or later even if it worked like magic in that particular clip.
erm...there's an old saying round these parts.." you cant take the pi$$ outta shi$e"..hehe..!im just the freindly seeker..
take care biddys..luv yer all xxx

Missing you on here Jude.

"it might be necessary to allow limited wolf hunting to keep the population from exploding"

Bimey, better get to work... no telling what destruction exploding wolves might cause in the hands of the Swedish Taliban.

Ha...
I'm in two minds about going out today now in case I frighten somebody . I'd better go and kiss myself in the mirror :))
Morning all - hope you are all having a good day.

Please nobody mention the chs word, prices here have gone through the roof, 15 a kilo for cheddar and even more for local cheese - how's that then??? Everywhere else in Spain they are reducing costs and really trying to help the people but not here, greedy s*ds! So no more chs handbags, thank you.
Is jude OK, she's not been on for ages.
Yes, we'd better not go loitering around in Woolies scarystar, they'll have us signing the masks...

well I was going to be nice to Vinny today but seeing as he's posted another trick link I think I'll have to reconsider....

Hi All I'm still around, and reading all your posts with interest. It's just that my life is pretty mundane really. Not doing anything special and haven't much to talk about. Just the usual Tai chi, eating out, and trips to my local haunt and you must be getting bored with all that.

I've doing my garden today like cutting the grass hoping it may be the last time before winter sets in. I do have one or two dinners booked for around Christmas time. 2 of them are with lots of friends I used to work with and another is with the Tai Chi group.

Enjoyed the story about the unicorn Kit brought a smile to my face even though it was a bit tragical like you say.

I like animals ie wolves and lions and the rest but I like to see them in their own habitat. I will never ever see them in real life but I watch programmes about them on the Tv.

You'll never guess what I missed last night. Derby played Blackpool and I was that busy watching Man. United on Tv I forgot about the Rams. They didn't win either Boo Hoo!

T'bag is still on the scene. He brought me a big bag of apples from his garden so I'm off to freeze them now.

Thanks Neti and Kit for wondering where I was.

Take care Biddies everywhere. :o)

...my own family aw-fen gather round to watch television... heppi christmas... i'm not surprised that many people feel lawst... - oh nevermind me possums I'm just honing my accent a bit. Don't worry, I shan't renounce y'all.

Speaking about trick links, here's a question and it ain't a rhetorical one: If any of you are having trouble with my YouTube links, could that person/those persons please speak up, as I'm trying to figure out what the problem is. Often, I can't play the clips I've just posted. I'm directed to the correct page on YT but the clip won't start. The following day it works, or sometimes just half an hour or so after posting. I'm wondering if this has something to do with me always clicking my own links in preview and, if so, if it only affects my computer or if it affects the link itself if you see what I mean. So please if you have experienced problems with my YouTube links tell me, I want to figure this one out.

ROTFL @ jno's exploding wolves...
I couldn't open your last link Vinny .
Free movies online,im watching tropic thunder yo
that wasnt a trick link..(:O)
Jude if you think your life is boring, you wanna come over here for a while, bores the pants off me!! Is ole T-bag still around? Tourist season coming to an end this week, although the weather is absolutely fantastic today, warm, breezy and wonderful, folk swimming in the sea.
