smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?

I've been looking at summery things on the net but I haven't done any ordering...yet.

It's very windy here but it's keeping it fresh. I've only done what I needed to do, I feel a bit jaded and every time I look over at my neighbour's garden my heart sinks, she loves this weather and she'd have been pottering in and out all day.

Today I realised that if its this hot next week, sis will have to get a taxi here as it will be too hot to take the dogs and too hot to leave them here with the doors and windows shut. Its not any kind of problem, there is a rank at the coach station.

Hope you are all Ok and pleased to hear you are in less pain with the tootsies Lofty .I had a bit of busy day really .Gardener here for mowering ,then poodling around domestically , Picky came to help me move some furniture around and so fed him and before you turn round it's time to go to bed .
Love this weather ...it can continue until Christmas for me ...but it won't :)

Well I kipped in the settee for an hour then got up and started pottering and nipped to tesco while it was cool enough to lock the dogs in the house. I went for earth and weedkiller and came back with fruit and veg so go figure.
Plans are for a lazy day today.

well one is not amused, I've been sat sitting waiting for a delivery (had an email, I know it's on it's way)...tut...I could have had my shopping done.

one has a tiara which one made oneself. its not difficult, one just nips round to the Tower for some spare diamonds and away one jolly well goes...actually mine is pearls. I bought them and the frame on ebay. A bear is wearing it at present.
We closed our eyes at just after 10.00 and woke up at 14.00...we all must have needed it. I have just scrubbed out the fountains and filled the birdbaths and feeders, then cleaned the kitchen and the cooker top. I also made coronation chicken and a yoghurt Eton Mess for tea. Just got to sling a loaf in and hoover, then a shower and a long cold one.

Got an unused toaster for £1 and unused elctric chip fryer for £5. Lots of other goodies. Well pleased.

I have managed to fall down two stairs because my foot and ankle gave way!! During the process I also managed to wrench my shoulder. I am a disaster area.

I shall miss all the Jubilee celebrations. We are off on Thursday (if I make it until then ;o) )

Yet more talk about bogus posts. Well it gives people something to do I supose
