Ugh - morning (after) all! Just got up, head's banging like a barn door in a storm! Boy did I do judeproud last night, I danced and jiggled and really enjoyed the party. At the end there was some jumping into the pool, but I restrained myself as size 16 M&S full briefs with a tena attached wasn't the look I was going for, so I jumped in when I got home. Glad it's all over now, had a horrendous dream about yobs trying to enter my house (although not a house I've ever seen before, rather swish it was) and all I could wonder was how could I pass them to hang the washing out!! I ask you!!
btw jno did your kitchen ever get finished? My poor sister has had to have her disaster ripped out and redone by a proper company!

While we as Neti's Water Rats may be on Goat Island, Grinda was Sheep Island, so it turned out. We talked to some Gute sheep, they were beautiful and kind, very easygoing. I love their strong voices.

actually the cards weren't made by me. I do make cards and do various card swaps where you send cards to each other, post them on a forum and we guess who made what.
Sorry to hear about the head Robi. I find rescue remedy helps along with pain killers, i keep a squiry bottle in my handbag, its generally useful. I was tearing back to Dh in the car the other day (it was hot and we had the dogs with us) through M and S after having been to sainsbury's when I realised I had forgotten something important in Sainsburys...thought came out of mouth and i muttered an expletive unfortunately just as i was [passing a very well dressed lady who looked a bit older than me...I immediately apologised and explained...luckily she laughed

Me and my sister are back into routine with the Saturday morning cream cakes and cuppa. Her family from New Zealand have gone back home and her house is now very quiet. as they have been here for 5 weeks.
There is absolutely nothing on the box again tonight except the Proms with the Youth Orchestra. which is playing in the background. My friend who I go out with has taken her Mum to Jersey for the week so I will have to go out on my own if I want to go which I must say doesn't really appeal.

I'm off out to a lunch party tomorrow. It is my friend's granddaughter's 18th birthday and I have been invited as she says I am like a grandma to her. (So no cooking for me then). If she has any problems she comes and talks to me which I suppose is a compliment in a way.. I talk straight to her so I suppose that must be what she likes.
I know that sounds funny saying it;s my friends granddaughter but he is her granddad and she lives with him and can't talk to him the same as she does to me.
Shut up now Jude you do go on!!

We planned to get the flooring people back in to sort out some squeaky boards, but they went bust (Allied Carpets it was), so we'll just have to live with it. jno jnr is on target so far: spent all day ripping down an entire wall, with another one planned tomorrow. He's on the top floor so I trust none of them is load-bearing. I am unclear where he gets his eneregy from - not genetic at all, so perhaps it's just something in the air.

In all truth jude I haven't looked at your spider link, enough is enough, i really am petrified of them. I dread seeing one scuttle across the carpet at my sister's, I make her come up to bed with me and wait until I'm ready and put the light out, and then I sweat under the duvet cos I just know one will run across the bed!!!
