Why is it necessary to whow it? It can't be vital to the story? OK Sp points out below that there was an "uproar" over a gay bedroom scene. My question is, why must we have it on TV soaps at all. We all know about bandit bedroom activities, why is it vital to show it in TV before the watershed? come to that why are soaps exempt from normal watershed rules anyway?

It would outrage and repulse people all the same
Oh and btw jack, isn't childish name calling against AB rules?

Tut tut
Not in your case, no.

I would suggest that it becomes site policy.
We can all do it then?

I can think of sooooooo many
Be my guest.............
Unlike you and other members of the clique who can get away with that kind of thing I don't stoop to those childish depths
Surprised anyone watches Emmerdale myself - not a patch on the mr wilkes and amos days....
Cowardy, cowardy custard...............all mouth an d no trousers......as has long been suspected.
Now now we will be having a gay time as the Ed throws you off - and I suspect that the salla incident has him sitting on the trigger tonight as wit the rapidity some replies have spawned.

JL - your comment is off as it would be illegal - having said that, the Beeb had no problem showing a murder crime being committed this week in the assisted suicide that Pritchard "commentated" on, so an illegal paedophilic incident is not beyond their wit, unfortunately.

However, lets back off trading the insults.
Do children still have "gonks" ?
Errrrrr.....does anyone remember the Whitney story line? I think underage grooming has been covered...
Yes ummmm, but were they filmed in bed together?
I doubt it but that's because is she is underage it is ILLEGAL !!!

Keep up, for heavens sake joeluke !!!
surely, they are highlighted things that go on in society? Yes, although some things covered, such as the whitney storyline, are illegal, they are used to raise public awareness. if you remember, for comic relief this year, eastenders used whitney again, to address the issue of prositution. If tv cannot address issues then it scares the public into talking about it and treating it as a taboo subject x
*sorry, scares the public into not talking about it*

So all gay or bi people have AIDs and take no preventive measures. Dream on, rover, you are living on the Planet Victoria age-wise and completely discounting those in stable trustful relationships.

Unbelievable to read such crap on here.
a few years ago, on eastenders they did, i cant remember his name but fowler was his surname, he caught aids and died in it. and im sure aids is not a homosexual disease, its more prominant in hetrosexual relationships im sure..
When people go to give blood they are questioned about whether they've had anal sex with a man in the last 6 months etc

.....and yet some say Aids is not a gay disease
