Should There Be A Lasting Memorial For Murdered Lee Rigby, Such As The One That Was Placed For Stephen Lawrence, A Few Miles Away In Eltham?

Andy, you're a very vociferous and opinionated person. So much so that you often have to issue apologies. Yet if you feel transgressed against, you don your moderator cap and threaten people. Imo, you should either moderate your own behaviour or stop issuing threats to others.(or better still, both)

Maybe it is your personality that is up for question here Andy, one day you join in a debate amicability and other times????? well what can I say."
Our posts have crossed - I can only repeat my last post.

*** SHOULD THERE BE A LASTING MEMORIAL FOR MURDERED LEE RIGBY, SUCH AS THE ONE THAT WAS PLACED FOR STEPHEN LAWRENCE, A FEW MILES AWAY IN ELTHAM? ***
I have repeated my headline for those who wish to turn this thread into a racist argument, and please note that I am just highlighting the text by putting them in upper case so that I do not also get accused of shouting.
Perhaps if the moderators had earlier entered this thread it would not have turned into what it has become.
Cannot some of you forget the colour of Stephen Lawrence's skin or the fact that he was killed by a white gang, and dwell on the real issue that being the fact that one plaque was allowed (regardless of who's it was) and yet one a few miles away was not allowed, and taking into consideration that both murders where equally horrific.

Are you now defending others, my remark was to mikey444 regarding his remark about me getting on with my life, and had nothing to do with you.
/// If you continue with your offensive tone, to me and others, I will report
you. ///
Please don't threaten me, and if you wish to report me please go ahead, perhaps it will highlight to the AB Editor how some can turn a perfectly reasonable question into what this has become.

My observation was to you, based on your remark to me, and remarks you made to others, I am not willing to entertain your 'he/she started it ...' response which you always use when censured for your remarks.

I was not threatening you - once again your 'victim' persona comes to the fore as you refuse to accept any responsibility for the obnservations you make, and the responses they attract - although you ar perfectly free with your vitriol if anyone disagrees with you.
I wrote in your defence yesterday - I shall not be so quick to do so again, and my post stands - I shall exercise my right to report you if you continue to be rude to me - others must act as they see fit, I am not speaking for any but myself.
I have never seen anyone be so pompous and offensive as to ask another AB'er not to take part in a debate - that ignoble claim to fame is likely to remain yours alone.

To someone who puts himself up as one who is pompous enough to challenge what others say, I find it difficult that you do not understand the meaning of the word threatening
/// If you continue with your offensive tone, to me and others, I will report

All seems like a threat to me, don't be rude to me or anyone else even if they are rude to you, or I will report you.
/// - once again your 'victim' persona comes to the fore as you refuse to accept any responsibility for the obnservations you make, and the responses they attract - although you ar perfectly free with your vitriol if anyone disagrees with you. ///
All fancy words even if some are spelt incorrectly, but simply untrue.
/// I have never seen anyone be so pompous and offensive as to ask another AB'er not to take part in a debate - that ignoble claim to fame is likely to remain yours alone. ///
Please don't bander about the word pompous so freely as you are AB's Mr pompous, and for your information it is not being pompous or indeed offensive to ask fellow ABers not to join into a debate if it upsets them so much, it is just sound reasoning, but at least I am not threatening them.
/// I wrote in your defence yesterday - I shall not be so quick to do so
again, ///
Surely I am not to be expected to be eternally grateful to you for defending me on that one occasion, especially when a few hours later you stab me in the back.
I am sorry Andy but unfortunately due entirely to your uncalled for attitude towards me on this thread, I feel that I can no longer join in friendly debate with you now or in the future.

Surely one can choice who not to debate with, if a person is forever being threatened with being reported, ordered not to retaliate to other's insults and other accusations, and in this you yourself should be equally responsible.

I am sure you and I choose who and who not to debate with, but we do it by simply not interacting with that person, rather than specifically asking them not to join a debate. That would be the polite thing to do i am sure you would agree.
I know you would also 'choose' rather than 'choice' not to debate, but as you pointed out, that's just a typo - not worh picking up and being unpleasant about it, we all make them.

Not sure about you, but I have never ever 'threatened' anyone with anything on the AB.
"...and in this you yourself should be equally responsible."
Oh dear - sorry you got dragged into this.
