Haha they are chewing each other up. Won't be long before we have to follow our Muslim friends examples or make the different sexes sit on opposite sides of the room like a birthday party for 11 year olds.
To add.....I work in a so called lovey dovey professional. People are kind and friendly, and some are theatrical by nature. But almost everyone knows how to behave. The idea that their profession makes them in any way prone to inappropriate behaviour is a shocking stinky myth.
There are of course those who get it wrong, as there are in all walks of life, but the convicted make the headlines more readily than the unknown teachers, traffic wardens, priests, nurses, carers and the like.
He shouldn't have done it, simple. She obviously was uncomfortable with it and that should have been enough for him to stop, but I don't regard it as sexual assault. Oh and aog, I'm STILL a supporter of yours ... x
You question the reaction, but clearly Adam Sandler touching Claire Foy’s knee was unwanted and unwarranted.
Put it this way, if you worked in an office and took part in a workshop interview, would you casually place your hand on the knee of a female colleague?
It’s an intimate gesture. And Foy obviously wasn’t happy for it to have happened. Any gentleman would have taken the first push away as evidence of this.
Going on to your dismissal of #metoo, are you saying that these women some that have been raped should be quiet about it?
Not at all, you said that not me. But those that are trying to get on the bandwagon by making petty accusations are masking where real problems have been alleged. Eg rape or serious assAult.
jack; I've just watched it again (I must be nuts) this time with sound - He's actually talking about body language Whose the one completely failing to grasp the point..... ?
yup...or if he didn't ask because he wanted to get a reaction to make a point, then you do it once and then apologise profusely publicly and explain...but if it were me I would still have been peeved at being used as someone else's demo patsy
To all the men brushing this off with a “Was all that what it was?” - if some random bloke put his hand on your wife’s knee in a pub, then did it again after she pushed it off, would you say nothing?
Wow you learn something every day. Didn't know that women had their genitals on their knees. :)) Thank you so, been missing by 3ft all these years. (^_*)

I don't normally take that stance but I have monitored this thread all day without actually watching the clip.
I have just taken the time to watch the actual show and I think Sandler is being hard done by, the media and social sites (this included) have gone overboard imo.
He was tactile with Emma Thompson without any problem and although Claire Foy didn't welcome the attention she didn't react half as much as some ABers have.
