AOG...you really do not seem to like women very much. I would have thought a man of your generation would have been more supportive of the lady. Maybe she should just grin and bear it...?
It all depends on whether you consider it a friendly gesture or a sexual one. Where there is a difference of interpretation there will be a difference of opinion. The woman concerned didn't look overly fussed. But did react as if it was unwelcome. But one can't go through life scared as if walking on eggshells. If one does something friendly and learns it wasn't appreciated then hopefully one remembers that person's dislike next time.
So she should just lay back and think of England!
Disgraceful behaviour of the man who kept touching her and disgraceful behaviour of the man on her who says well she is wearing trousers!!
///was once in a supermarket with my wife and we were at the bakery counter, as usual I was in charge of the supermarket shopping cart and were leaning over it as one does.
All of a sudden I felt a nip on my rear end, turning round in amazement to see a female scuttling away voicing the words,
"I just couldn't resist that".///
Did you forget to put your trousers on that morning, aog?
Jesus. This is another misogynistic classic from you AOG.
Your earlier justification that women throw themselves at men and they shouldn’t do this because we’re weaker and less in control of ourselves is staggeringly insulting to women. How you’ve survived 80odd years with such ridiculous bigoted opinions is beyond me.
There is an old saying that 'actions speak louder than words'. In this case they didn't, therefore she SHOULD have said something. Whether she was on TV, whether it would have harmed her career or whatever, she should have said something. Maybe she would have been praised if she had. I have said before that this wouldn't have bothered me but if it had, and I have been in a situation where it did, then I would have spoken out (and did) and shamed the person who did it!
And to think there was a thread about the 'bullying' of AOG this weekend. When reading some of the posts and retorts from AOG a robust response is interpreted as bullying. I appreciate you are of advancing years but you could also let your attitude to the modern world and the changing of attitudes to various behaviours to catch up with your advancing years.
