Do you see how it is all OUR Fault by letting a convicted terrorist 'roam the streets' Nothing to do with them and no suggestion of what actions they are going to take within their own community.

Untitled, no one has suggested that the 'majority' of Muslims support terror attacks but if only 1% of the almost 20 billion Muslims worldwide support terrorism that equates to 20 million people who are happy for you to be blown to smithereens - so your 'thousands' pale somewhat into insignificance really. That's the unsavoury reality.

I am quite capable of criticising Islam naomi… i think that it does an awful lot of harm to the people in it especially the ones that don’t fit into the “traditional” family structure… it often provides a religious justification for bigotry (against jews and gay people for example), i do not approve of the way it tends to treat women, i think the instructions against alcohol and pork (two things of which I am fond!!) are joyless miserable and anti-fun… i think the hostility toward non- muslims depicting mohammed is creepy and authoritarian too…
I think all of those things but I also think muslims are people who do not deserve to be demonised… and I think the climate of fear around them - or any other minority - is very dangerous and that the horror over attacks like this is often used to dehumanize and whip up hatred against people who have no involvement in them…
