I think that the lady was asking where her family originated from. I think that is a genuine question, maybe not the time nor the place but it is hardly a major issue.

weecalf - // If Lady Susan has delayed her pension till now guess she’s will be paying a lot of it in tax . //
Lady Susan's position as the late Queen's Lady In Waiting is an honorary position, it was unpaid, and her current role, if the furore dies down and she can quietly resume it, as I for one believe she should, is also unpaid, so her tax status is unaffected.

davebro - // I think A-H has deleted posts in this thread. //
You are wrong davebro.
// I don't think mods should be allowed to do that when they are obviously involved in the discussion. //
Mods are not allowed to delete posts that refer or respond directly to posts they have made - so they don't.
And to be clear, I have not deleted any posts on this thread - I suspect the ones to which you refer are the one where an AB'er was rude to me, and I advised that I had reported his posts.
Those reports will not be seen until Monday morning at the earliest, when the Editorial Team come into the office.
Another Moderator deleted those posts, I have no idea who it was, because no Mod sees actions by other Mods, that is exclusively the preserve of the Editor and Team.
Obviously i did not request that it was done, I am not able to do that.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

// She isn’t - but her daughter is becoming a Queen’s Companion. //
That would suggest that the much vaunted 'throwing under the woke bus...' that the more hysterical posters on this thread have assumed to be the outcome of this regrettable incident, are far from the truth.
I would not imagine that Lady Hussey's daughter would be keen to work with the Royal Family, had said 'throwing' taken place, or that the palace would be keen to have her.

The appointment of the daughter was made before the incident.

Naomi 12.41 : of course it was a godsend and even better it gave a certain person a chance to dress up and pursue her own agenda. Which was certainly not to achieve sympathy and possibly help for the charity she was supposedly representing. Her own agenda was to play the race card and get her publicity for herself.
And A-H before you start to tell me how wrong I am you have no idea about my background or upbringing.

That pre-suposes two things, both with no evidence beyond imagination -
One is that Ms Fulani does not normally dress as she did for the reception. She may well dress like that all the time, she may have simply dressed up on the day because she felt it was appropriate - but only she knows that, anything else is guesswork.
Two is that Ms Fulani had an 'agenda' to 'play the race card', which is arrant nonsense.
How could she have possibly known in advance that she was going to have an unpleasant encounter with one of the Queen Consort's attendants? It was a crowded room, there were dozens of people there, it is purely fate that brought the two of them together, so any notion that Ms Fulani went with the intention of causing a row based on racism is utter fanciful nonsense.

I have no idea, nor do I remotely care about your upbringing - my response to your post that you are wrong is based on what you have posted, and nothing more.

I am ignoring that for the nonsense it is.
